Hey all, sorry but this isn't Rust.
This is Handyman speaking, for those of you who don't know, I'm that guy who writes that fic with that other guy who does the things. Those of you who aren't laughing at the fact I now have an account with a batpony avatar, you have no soul and your first born child will be ginger.
Anywho, I was unfortunate enough to be walking down the street when that cunt Rust dropped out of the sky, flung the keys to his house, car and all of his worldly possessions at my face and then ascended into the great beyond.
Bastard almost took out my eye and he still owes me a fiver.
Basically Rust gave me his account and I'll be custodian over his stories as he has left the fandom, he also has a few unwritten stories hanging around in his to-do list he has given me permission to work with if I so choose. None of his stories will be deleted nor mothballed. I'm not sure if I have his permission to finish his stories or not, such as Echo, but if there's sufficient demand and I have the time, sure, why the fuck not?
As it stands, the stories are here to stay and they're safe in my hands, they won't be going anywhere.
As it stands, I wish Rust all the best in his life and good fortune in all his endeavours, I won't let him down.
I would absolutely love to see more of Echo. Make sure you check the last chapter of the original. There were a couple of things that were mention in the epilogue. I'm super curious to see what it meant by Number 46 (probably the 46th outworlder), along with traitor, slave, and friend of the family. The story just feels like an epic and it is but it was only one step on what is an incredible journey.
Ah, sad to see him go. He was the first author I followed on this site... and he wrote the first story I read on this site that made me beg for more. Still, figured it was coming from his extended hiatus.
Hope you're able to finish up Echo honestly, he kept building "Legend" up and now I really want to see what his final vision was. Good luck if you do try and continue, and if not at least they will be there for future fans to find and enjoy.

I'm glad to see someone pick up rust stuff. I for one would like to see echo continued, it was such a interesting story to read. Take your time though and don't push yourself to write. Its easier to take your time and make a good story great then to rush a great story and make it fail. We waited a long time for any updates so a little longer is won't hurt at all.
Does that mean he also dumped all of his notes/ideas on you? Kinda hard to continue something if he doesn't tell the writer what's behind the cliffhanger, billowing curtain, foreshadowed arm, etc.
Wouldnt mind seeing Echo get a conclusion, that was going so many places.....
Echo is good, but I'd love to see Pippin finished. That minotaur was BOSS.

4: I think your name now should be Handyman Rust, until you pass it onto someone else, which then you'll have them add their name to it, and so forth and so forth.

I'd love to see these worlds continued. I really loved echo(I'm a sucker for world building) and would be thrilled to see and update pop up. That being said, you do you, cheers man
