Projects I've been working on

I haven't been using the Blog feature on fimfiction, and I figure I may as well start occasionally. I doubt anyone will actually read this, anyways, but if somepony does, here's what's been taking up my writing time.

I decided a while ago that I'd start making use of the time I spend on the bus every day to do some writing. The first thing that came of that was Taking Time, which I published back in July. I'll probably publish other things sharing the same universe at some point, though not necessarily sequels.

Since then, I haven't put up any fanfiction. Part of this is that I don't really like publishing things I haven't actually finished writing the last chapter of, or haven't had preread. There are a few things I have been writing, though, and I thought I may as well write a little bit about them. Not all these are guaranteed to ever be published.

First off, I've written a little shipping oneshot called Raindrops on Roses. It's about 5.5k, and features, unsurprisingly, Raindrops and Roseluck. Daisy, Lily, Nurse Redheart, and Doctor Stable all are supporting characters. None of the mane 6 make an appearance, and until recently, none of the characters had tags. I'll publish this one eventually, but my prereader hasn't had a chance to go over it in detail since a rather early draft. There were two or three paragraphs bugging me, anyways.

Another fanfic in my pile of things I was working on has a working title of Fluttershy's Project. It's a basic orphan!Scootaloo fanfic featuring Fluttershy with a few twists. I've written three chapters of it, plus 2 or 3 near-chapter scenes. I have the next two chapters planned out, but I've been procrastinating on them. I need to write a flashback with Flutterabuse, starring her POS parents. I strongly dislike them, and haven't been able to persuade myself to write it. In the background of that fanfic, they are largely responsible for Fluttershy's crippling shyness...

I've been writing other things till I feel like working on that again, though. I wrote a few drabbles that aren't worth posting. Though the one that started to head towards Fluttershy teaching Rainbow Dash martial arts might be worth salvaging.

And then I've got this strange fanfic going involving Scootaloo in a coma. I've written three chapters in the last couple days on it, since it's been disturbingly fun to write. They are all pretty short, though, and I'll probably need to do a bunch of revising. This one required me to create parents for Scootaloo, so I played around with the Pony Creator. I also made Vinyl Scratch her aunt, and made Vinyl Scratch a cousin of Shining Armor. The latter is due to a resemblance in character design, and the former relationship, I stole from a fanfic of Wise Cracker's.

That's pretty much what I've been working on. I've thought about posting a bit more about Taking Time in a blog post, but I'm not sure if there's any interest.
