So I have been thinking recently, maybe I should change my name.
When i first made the account I named it FlutterDashOTP because i had just been reading Heated, the wonderful Flutterdash fic by NintendoGal55. I had only even made the account because i saw that Heated was incomplete, and i felt like i had a chance to participate in an ongoing story, which i was really excited about! Now though, i think i might change it for two big reasons.
1. I made the account after reading loads of Flutterdash, and i hadn't really thought about other fics when naming the account. Now, though, i feel it limiting for me if I ever want to make a comment on another story, because It autopmatically states I'm bias in regards to shipping, and it ignites argument from people who dont support Flutterdash (Those crazy folks :P). Also, I feel like if i were to ever WRITE a story (which i intend to do at some point, mind you) People would assume that it has some shipping or that I am always writing from the head cannon of Flutterdash. Now, admittedly, in most cases the people who would be reading my comment/story would be right, I am usually bias in shipping and usually think from a Flutterdash perspective, but I would like to be able to do more than just that.
2.Ever since catching up with heated, i have started to play a particular role in the comments section, I love to give a critical review. This started when I read Perfect on Paper, another story by NintendoGal55. I kept on seeing nothing but praise and gushy emotional comments, and i felt like i was the only one who noticed certain details that irked me. So, i started writing a chapterly review and kept it up through the end. I liked the challenge of finding errors, and i liked the concept of helping a writer, or in some cases just talking about the plot, and how i may disagree with some elements. I think it started becoming so fun that I enjoyed storied more if i left a review pointing out what I thought about them, and what could have been better, and maybe I should let people know by putting that in my name.
All that said, I feel like it might be time for a new name. I dunno.
