This is a short blog post · 4:36am Mar 9th, 2014
I tend not to write/post short things (Even while writing this I changed my mind back and forth about whether or not to post it about 7 times). I generally see them as being not worth writing down or sharing, because they are so inconsequential and really nobody other than me cares about them (although that's probably more to do with the author than the length).
Anyways, I was looking through my Favorites a lot, and I kept being bothered by how much the Flutterdash outweighed the other stories, even after cutting ones that I didn't think were spectacular. I figure I will probably round it out a bit more if I keep doing lots of reading, but at the same time there is that feeling that some of the non-Flutterdash are so spectacular that they deserve an even higher list (like Twilight Sparkle: Night Shift), and that my entry standards for non-Flutterdash are unfairly higher. As a result, I might decide in the near future to switch my favorites up a bit more and remove the Flutterdash that wouldn't meet my regular standards, and just make a separate list on my profile for Flutterdash I would recommend (I could give Night Shift its own list this way too... intriguing). The only thing is, I feel bad unfavoriting a story, because I do really like these stories and since the authors don't really care if I put a story of theirs on a list on my page that probably nobody sees, all they see is one less favorite for their story. Unless of course, you don't see how many people have favorited your story. In which case this is a whole lot of fuss over nothing. Actually, this is a whole lot of fuss about nothing, period. It's just a nothing that I feel like fussing over anyways.
Not actually as short as I thought it would be, I guess I must just be obnoxiously long-winded all the time.
