Status update!

After recovering a bit from my sinus issues, I finally found my characters' voices again and managed to get half of chapter 7 written down. But I hit another writer's block when I realized I needed to focus more on Filthy Rich in this chapter than I was, so getting things reorganized is slowing things down a bit.

Also my sinus issues came back, and thus I'm scheduled for surgery May 25th and have that to look forward to next week. It's full-blown surgery with me getting put out like a light, so I'll be taking the next few days off work after the procedure. Hopefully if I'm not feeling too miserable, I'll be able to do some writing during the recovery period.

The other thing distracting me is the new episodes. I've had ideas for one-shots I've been wanting to write, but feel guilty every time I start on one of them because I'm not working on my main story. Episodes like The Crystalling, Gauntlet of Fire, and Newbie Dash have all inspired some interesting premises, but none of them are ready for publishing. (The Newbie Dash-based one-shot is the closest to completion, but it could use a rewrite I think.)
