Wow, it's been almost a year. Six days shy of a year to be exact. And all I have to show you is a chapter rewrite. Granted, this chapter got even longer and had far more significant changes than the last two. And I'm satisfied with those changes. But it shouldn't have taken me this damn long.
It's hard for me to believe so much time has passed. I've been keeping myself busy, writing/editing at least five days a week, and you don't even know how far behind I am on some of my other projects. I think I may have stretched myself thin. I didn't even notice the date until I started this post
But there's good news. Chapter 3 is officially done. And I believe it is now significantly better. Chapter 4 is much shorter and needs less cosmetic work, so you can expect that a whole lot sooner. Chapter five has been done, so you can expect it even sooner after that. And I should have chapter 6 done and 7 started long before I put out 5. And I'm going to do my best start putting out regular updates by then.
By the way, thanks for sticking it out with all this time. I know there's only thirteen of you-- some of which are newer than others and one which I presume is dead-- and I know it doesn't really cost you anything but time (and not much unless I'm cluttering your feed with my two updates a year), but thanks for giving me the opportunity to waste your time.
Unfortunately, my colleague hasn't done anything Zero Hour related art in quite a while. So I don't have any pretty pictures for you at the moment. But he's currently working on ZH's cover art; I'll slap that on here when it's ready.
