    I’m alive, honk.

I am still here, just having some technical issues.

That whole business with the iPad really knocked me on my arse, I was upset and angry for a long time. Eventually I moved on and have since replaced the iPad. I’m slowly getting back into doodling and whatnot again.

    Bored.

    Very bored.

Wanna go out, for something that isn’t just groceries.

Windows 10 is being a huge twat, won’t run half my games. Wish I hadn’t upgraded, but I had no choice.

Still haven’t written anything; my mind is blank. I think my brain escaped quarantine and doesn’t wanna come back any time soon.

    Ugggh...I wanna play RE7, but it’s broken. Stupid W10.

    I’m sorry. [FDTL news]

How do I even begin this?

    I’m sorry.

I’ve been agonising Over this for some time now. What to say, what to do. I kept silent- hoping this barricade would collapse if I just found the right way...

But the guilt is too much, I can’t do this. I owe you all an apology. I sincerely thought I’d regain my footing in my writing someday, but not even writing the short story helped.

    Side story up soon!

Hey, for all of you who follow FDTL, I’ve written a short (haha) story, a companion piece to FDTL. I was stuck for the longest time, then someone suggested I try writing a one shot to get back into writing FDTL again.

    I hope you’ll enjoy it!

-And boy was it rough getting home!

First off, the con itself was many shades of awesome~! Me and my sister went to a lecture on ponies and culture, and i went to a thing about drawing, and seen people playing the CCG!

I brought home more posters than plush this year, as there werent many stalls selling cuddly pones! BUT, the ones i did get are for my friends~ ^__^ I already have a gargantuan collection...

Aside from the plushes, i got a cool poster of Rara, and some others (ill try upload photos asap) along with some other stuff, its hard to describe, so i'll need to post photos soon!

The journey home? Oh sweet Celestia on a pogo stick it was AWFUL. :fluttercry:

The train from Manchester to Southampton was cancelled due to weather, as were any direct connections to the south coast. So i was shipped from Manchester to Birmingham New Street, and from there to Reading. I was tired, my back ached so badly i could barely walk, and not to mention bedraggled and wet as it was raining at Reading! :raritydespair:

When i got to Reading station, the place was practically deserted. I was running about in a cavernous, artic station for ages until i finally encountered a driver coming off his shift. He was able to call the station manager, who brought me to a waiting room. I actually started crying at one point i was so strung out. They couldnt get me a train home, it was 12:00 midnight by this point, and on a sunday services often end early so they can work on the rail lines since there's minimal traffic.

In the end they called a taxi cab, which took a further hour and a half to get home. I passed in and out through most of it, and my gut was so upset, even sitting up to get out of the taxi made me feel violently nauseous. :pinkiesick: I pretty much crawled into bed, and ended up stuck there for the next 24 hours. I felt sick, i was constantly tired all day...it was horrible.

Im still feeling kinda drained, and dont feel much like eating. But at least i can work at my PC without barfing. :ajsleepy:

Welcome back! Glad to hear that you had fun! I'm sorry that the journey back was rough. I'm not much for car trips either, I get carsick. At first my parents gave me Dramamine for it even though it tasted nasty to me.

We stopped doing that however because the after effects were that it made me sleepy and stuff. At the time, mom had (and still is) gotten onto the organic thing so we didn't go looking for a different medication. This was post Food Inc and there's more to this but I digress. Anyways, mom started looking into more organic things, I can remember one of the options was ginger and I'm not a fan of ginger. In more recent years though, I've found that mint is an option that I like because I love mint. I'm not sure if you love mint, but I can advise candied ginger and mints for you. Maybe it'll help.

I'm glad you enjoyed the con, sweetie! I didn't know your sister was going with you. I'm glad you weren't alone but the trip back sounded like it was from HELL. You poor darling! I'm working six hours tomorrow and am not sure what state I'll be in afterwards, so mebbe we can Skype on Thursday or Friday. I hope that gives you enough time to recover.

Welcome home! I'm glad you had fun, but sorry for the rough ride back. I hope you feel better again soon!
