Rarity has expanded her business into Canterlot and even helped Rainbow Dash fly with the Wonderbolts. This may just be the greatest moment of her life.
And yet, on the train back to Ponyville, she can't help but think about what could still go wrong. Fortunately, one of her friends is here to listen to her worries... though Rainbow Dash seems to have her own concerns at the moment.
That, is how I feel about FanofMostEverything's most inspired story. It's the perfect way to unwind and bring what might have been an eventful day to a close. There isn't any long, or intense plot. Nor is there even a spark of romance, its just a simple and delightful little story about two ponies on a train who strike up a conversation.
Unsurprisingly, its has a rather low view count for someone with so many followers. It's on my list of highly underrated but truly enjoyable stories that deserve more attention than what they receive.
The story follows Rarity as she returns home from Canterlot, shortly after the grand opening of her new boutique. While riding the train, she encounters Rainbow Dash who, from all appearances is upset about something. Rarity then makes it her business to find out what is troubling her friend and thus, the plot unfolds.
I dare not ruin the ending here, not for its shock value but rather it would ruin the point of reading the story. Which on its own, is a rare gem among a pile of boulders that make up a fair amount of the site's content.
I went into this expecting a lot of heavy imagery but found none, I must admit that the coverart is a bit misleading as I thought that the story would have a much deeper conflict or would be far more thought provoking. But it wasn't.
Instead, I get a simple little story about one pony's journey back home. Which is very nice, but its not as deliciously satisfying as finding out that the author has written to provoke the reader's much deeper train of thought. That there is in fact a much more abstract undertone, a more personal and inner conflict that can only be expressed in a very specific way.
If you're looking for a short vignette about Rarity, Rainbow Dash or trains, than this is definitely one to check out.
Recommendation: Recommended
By the time you are reading this, my newest story should be up on the site. I apologise for the long three month dry spell but I did explain that in another blog. I plan on publishing stories more frequently from now on, since I plan on making writing a higher priority than what is been of late.
I should have a semester break in June, so I might get some time then. But seriously, I will be posting more content soon. I honestly think the best thing to do is to stick to writing one-shots and only have my editor look at the ones that I feel need the most work. I hope you like my new story and I also hope that you enjoyed this review.
So go check out my new story and also the one I wrote about in my review, let me know what you think.
I'll be posting an update blog soon.

Thank you very much!
As for the cover art, it was the only picture I could find that was only Dash and Rarity on a train.
