Audio Reading - Hearth's Warming Eve In Canterlot · 2:02am Dec 26th, 2022
At the beginning of November, I was asked by TyriusTheVA if it would be alright if he did an audio reading of one of my older stories, Hearth's Warming Eve In Canterlot for Christmas. I said yes, of course, it's been a long time since anyone has ever asked me if they could do an audio reading of one of my stories and I was excited for the opportunity to have another one done.
I was updated periodically about his progress and was pleasantly surprised when he told me that he would be including lots of artwork, voice actors, and music in the reading. Having listened to it myself I can definitely tell that a lot of hard work has been put into it, the voice actors do a great job of capturing the character's individual personalities and the sound effects and music are a nice touch.
I can't express how much I appreciate someone giving another one of my stories a dramatic reading, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling hearing my story being read aloud. Although I can't help but cringe at how I used to write, keep in mind this story is from 2015 back when I was sixteen years old. I can't believe how long I've been on this site for, ten years next year.
I really hope you guys take some time to listen to it, you can find the link here.
I also wanted to take a chance to showcase some of the artwork from the reading, here are a few of my favorites, they've been snipped from the video so they're cropped, you can find a full list of the artists and voice actors in the video description.
Thanks again to TyriusTheVA and everyone who collaborated with him to bring this story to life in a wonderful audio reading, you've all worked so hard and should be very proud.
I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
