How Many Times Does Trixie Actually Say "I"?

One of Trixie's best-known traits in the fandom is that she speaks in the third person all the time. But does she really? Turns out, no one has ever counted the times she says "I." Until now...

Reference/Inspiration List for "Where Black Seas Lap the Shores of Dead Stars"

Rather than litter the author's notes with references in my usual style, I thought I'd try something a little different. So, for the curious, I've made a separate blog post of all the references and allusions you might have missed!

Hat Man Reviews: "Haze" by Bandy!

Haze is a story that is filled with big ideas: Cloud empires. Flying earth ponies. Ancient religions. Superpower-inducing fungi. Unfortunately, much like the mushroom-munching ponies in this story, this story might be biting off more than it can handle…

"The Iron Horse" Updates + Milestones! (3/21/16) · 12:56pm Mar 21st, 2016

Hello everyone! Well, first thing's first: The Iron Horse will update today, March 21st! It will probably be in the late afternoon, early evening time, Central Daylight Time. Not only that, you won't even have to wait long for the next chapter! That one should arrive in one week's time.

A few other milestones need mentioning, not the least of which is this:

That's right, as of yesterday evening, The Iron Horse: Everything's Better With Robots! was officially approved for the Goodfic Bin! They're known for being quite discriminating, and I'm very honored to have my story accepted. The story was approved by Architect Ironturtle. His review can be found here. Thanks a lot, Mr. Ironturtle!

Another milestone is that the story has now breached more than 500 likes. Likes might not be everything, but the tacit approval of over 500 people is something I greatly appreciate. Of course, if any of you reading this haven't liked it and feel like pushing it closer to 600, I wouldn't object. :ajsmug:

Not only that, I received my first piece of fan art. Below, we have a neat rendition of Turing Test as drawn by Zaponator! Thanks, pal!

Last, but certainly not least, the next chapter will be the first one to be officially edited by the newest member of the team, Reese! I say "officially" because Reese has, in the past, spotted several minor mistakes that went up after posting that somehow the other editors and I missed, usually minor punctuation or blink-and-you'll-miss-it typos. :twilightsheepish: I figured if he was going to do the job, might as well ask if he wanted to catch those mistakes before the chapter was posted. And he's already done a great job! Welcome to the team, Reese!

That's all for now! I hope you enjoy the chapter this evening!
