So I decided to publish the first two chapters of my maiden foray into MLP fan-fiction. (Or fan-fiction in general, really..)

There's likely to be mistakes, despite my attempt at giving it all a once-over, due to reasons of fail. It's also turning out slightly longer than I anticipated.

Anyway, these first chapters are mostly just an attempt to set the scene, flesh out the relationships between Rainbow Dash and the remainder of the Mane Six - as I see them - and delve into some relevant details about the FiM world. A lot of set-up, in other words, with the intention of making more dramatic events later on more poignant.

But, apart from that, also it allows for a bit of levity. And since chapter 3 will feature Pinkie Pie (along with Rarity, Fluttershy, and Scootaloo), it's going to be a pretty fun little romp, too.
