Aurora

I've come a looong way from awkwardly smashing two plastic pony toys together whilst making kissy-kissy noises... Haven't I?

    Nosing & Tasting - Revisions?

Ask any of my friends and fellow authors, and they'd probably tell you that one of the biggest downsides of being (vaguely) acquainted with me is that, every single time I'm about to publish something, I invariably turn to one of them in the middle of a pre-publishing nervous breakdown, utterly convinced that I've just written the worst thing ever. :raritydespair:

Aurorals - Flarity mini-fic by yours truly · 7:06pm Aug 16th, 2013

Hey guys,

If it's been your life-long dream to see me take another stab at drama, then:
A. You're in luck!
and B. You seriously need to get your priorities straight.

As you may know, the elegant ladies and gentlemen over at the Flarity group have a group-collab thread going, wherein authors take turns trying to write a 500-word mini-fic based on a single-word prompt in the span of four hours.

The most recent suggestion was the word "Alone," which inspired me to write a short, bittersweet story featuring everyone's favorite fashionista, during my lunch-break at the office. (Being me, of course I exceeded the maximum length-requirement somewhat, clocking in at exactly 747 words, but the others somehow found it in theirs hearts to forgive me.)

You can find my little story in the official Flarity Group Collab story submission, here:

Of course, mine is just the sixteenth entry in an entire cavalcade of awesome little Flarity-flavored gems -- I very much suggest you check them all out! It won't take much of your time, and pretty much all of them are quite touching, or funny, or brilliant, or just plain sexy!

Alrighty, back to work...

Aurora out.
