Tails of Equestria - They finally made one!

As my dear "readers" (or rather waiters,,, sorry, I am working on stuff, I promise) may have noticed, I like RPGs. I even wrote an entire chapter as an RPG, for goodness sake! Now, the good people at "River Horse" (love the name already) managed to talk Hasbro into making an official MLP RPG called "Tails of Equestria".
I got the book today and I just finished it... here are my thoughts:

Let's talk about Zelda *BotW Spoilers*

So... you might have noticed that I have been a tad quiet lately. Well, work is an inverse b'tch as it pays me to get screwed over and over again.
Jokes aside, I want to vent a little and I thought the best way to do that is to write about something that I love: Zelda

    RPGs You Should Try

Recently one of my friends and me got into a bit of a quarrel about the state of modern RPGs. While he thinks that RPGs are at their lowest with D&D 5, the new 7th Sea being disappointing and FF games losing Warhammer, I personally think that we are in an golden age of Roleplaying with sites like DriveThruRPG and the like allowing us to find games that would have never seen publishing alone.

    WORST EPISODE EVER!!!

Seriously? 11 Int for a "Turn into root vegetable" spell?
That's heavy transmogrify and at least level 5 in 3.5 and maybe 4 in Pathfinder. That needs a 15 or 14 Int! Even more if untrained!
And Captain Wuss should get a save!
    GOD!
    0 out of 5 stars
    No points
    Terrible episode!

(PS: Can someone please recommend a decent neurosurgeon? I need someone to get these writers out of my head!!!)

100% Sheer Awesomeness!!! · 9:06pm Mar 13th, 2016

Since I had some spare money laying around (some people insisted on throwing it into my direction after I had some kind of "birthday" as they called it... weird isn't it?), I decided to invest it into the future and... LOL Nah, I spent it on something way more fun:
You may know this amazing artist on DeviantArt called Longinius II who does amazing works of ponies in lingerie (don't worry, its not weird, he also does pictures of hippogryphs and sphinges -YES! THAT is the plural of Sphinx- )
So I commissioned a picture of our favourite couple of conspirators. Apparently I was the first to commission a male model. Aren't I wacky?
Anyways: Here is the LINK
But since I had some spare time (and yes, the new chapter is actually done and with the beta-reader, I really had time) I wrote a short-story to go with it which I will post below. Why here? Because I don't want to publish stories that have no beta reader and this is too side-tracked for anything. So bear with me or just click above and tell Longinius that he is amazing and awesome and that his name literally means "the second long one".

Dear Diary
Where to start, where to start?
I always knew it to be a given that my special line “Rarity’s Secret” would sometimes lead me towards the uncommon or even the unique, but last evening was one of those moments that I both dreaded and loved. For as I was helping good Sassy with finally closing the store (the dear has yet again been a delight to work with), I was engaged by a rather peculiar stallion with a nervous smile on his lips and worry in his eyes. I, of course, listened to his needs and after I had sent Sassy away he opened up enough to tell me that some unknown pony had pointed him to me for a unique piece from my collection. I was certainly glad to listen to his pleas but I was also rather firm that I needed to at least have a picture and the exact measurements of the mare in question before I could begin to conceive a fitting piece for her. It was at this point that the poor dear told me that the commission was not for his beloved but rather for him. Yes, this noble soul came to me solely to surprise his love with a unique piece of lingerie fit for him.
For now, I sent him away with a plea to patience, but asked for his name and address. Maybe my muse will strike but I am just not sure of myself. Dresses are my speciality and lingerie is my passion. But making something for a straight and cis stallion seems rather out of my wheelhouse. Dear diary, I will have to sleep over this before I can decide further. For now, rest well.

Dear Diary
Another day, another curiosity to add to my life. You certainly remember that admirable stallion that had surprised me yesterday, do you? Well, today a mare approached me right after opening shop and requested yet another piece of my special line for herself. She was a bat pony, an honour guard of Princess Luna herself and though her presence seemed slightly intimidating, I do felt that she deserved the chance to express the beauty inside her. Since Sassy was not yet there and I didn’t want to leave the store for long, I asked her for an address and name, so I could make an appointment in the future. As I carried the note back to my working room, I noticed that the address of that mare had been the exact same as the address of the stallion from last evening. After Sassy came in, I had a quick chat with the mailpony and learned that these two were, in fact, a couple. Through whatever coincidence, those two lovebirds had simultaneously decided that they wanted to let loose their inner beauty and came to me for help. Oh, dear diary, how could I ever send them away? Expertise or not, this love deserves, no, needs the gentle hoof of a fashionista. Of THIS fashionista.

Dear Diary
The letters are sent. I sent one to the troubled stallion, unmarked and without sender, asking him to come over during a night of my next visit to Canterlot and I sent one to the castle to be addressed to the brave mare, asking her to visit me later during the next month. I argued with myself but I have to keep their mutual request a secret. It may require some struggles but such an occasion is rare and beautiful and how much happiness can I awaken in their hearts when they see the truth in the end.

Dear Diary
Both agreed to my request. Now to pack for my return to Ponyville. Sweetie Belle is certainly eager to see me again.

Dear Diary
I am so sorry for not writing into you more often, but SOMEPONY- oh sorry, I forgot that I couldn’t be passive-aggressive with Sweetie Belle when writing. Anyways, Sweetie Belle “helped” me unpack and managed to misplace you for the whole duration of my homestay. She is truly a hoof full, but I couldn’t wish for a sweeter and kinder sister. And if you ever read this, Sweetie Belle, you have lost that because you are snooping around in my diary!
In other news: I returned to Canterlot with a bit of worry in my soul. The fact that this would be my first garment of intimacy for a stallion did give me awful doubts. The fact that Sassy, after I revealed his name to her, had told me that my new customer was in fact, Canterlot’s most well-known cult leader was another point that made me tremble. Though Sassy assured me that the word “cult” was in this case always followed by the words “don’t worry, they’re harmless”. But there I was and he came to me during the night, glad that I had called upon him during a time when his sweetheart was doing her sworn duty.
I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by him. Autumn Galerina, as he is called, was a very pleasant pony to do business with. He made little secret of his adoration for his fiancée and that he felt that she was entitled to see him being beautiful in some way. Admittedly, he was not exactly a naturally handsome fellow. Lanky in stature with tight shoulders and a rather, well, matt colouration, with a grey coat and a black mane. Oh Diary, I would not consider him a looker. But there was a sincerity and drive in him that did speak to me. Of course, I did also inquire about his cult, which he explained happily. Apparently, he had found the same books that had spurned Twilight into action all those years ago and decided to prepare in a different way. Not expecting to win an open fight, his cult had prepared to appease Nightmare Moon, whose return and victory over Celestia he saw inevitable. These days, the cult mostly does charity and works to ease worries about Princess Luna.
In his talking about this cult, I did see something in his eyes. A certain noble determination and kind eagerness. There was a fire in his crimson eyes that I could imagine could light the way for others. I kept this in mind for the future.
Finally, I had to ask him about his fiancée and it was adorable how enamoured this stallion was. Though he did not enjoy talking about the beginning of their relationship, it was clear that he saw her as an influence that drove him to great deeds. His “heroine” as he calls her in private, certainly fits the old saying that behind every great stallion stands a great mare. And while it did reassure me in my urge to make this project work, sadly, I have yet to be kissed by my muse. I sent him home with a promise to do some sketches.

Dear Diary
NOTHING!
What is wrong with you, my muse? I had ideas for tuxedos, suits, saddles… whatever I thought of, it would fit him, but nothing suited for intimacy! Maybe a talk with his fiancée will give me some inspiration. She should be here soon, so I hope I strike as well a cord with her as I do with him.

Dear Diary
Celestia and Luna, this meeting was intimidating! I can still feel the goose bumps!
Diamond Shadow, my client, turned out to be not the kind of guard that I had expected. Maybe my perception was muddied by meeting Shining Armour and Celestia’s honour guard, but I had not expected a pony such as her.
She was rather blunt about her desire to strike a flame in her fiancé’s heart and more importantly his physique. I cannot tell you how deeply she made me blush with a few of her remarks. Certainly not a lady that one! Anyway, even a quick glance at her figure shows her to be a very muscular mare and her gait betrays the fact that she is adorned in armour most of the time. Though I have to admit that I might be wrong, as she barely relaxes. Her coat is dark blue, almost akin to Luna herself and her mane has nice sky-blue and black pattern. Her eyes, as common for bat-ponies, were slitted and had a piercing amber colour. All in all, I think I can work with her much easier.
As we spoke, I noted that Diamond blatantly refused to talk about how she met her fiancé or even what she did before her life as a guard. I would find it worrying, but I have read the requirements to become a protector of Equestria and none who had ever wronged the law would be allowed, so I did not inquire further.
Though her manners and behaviour is rough, I do find her affection for the eloquent unicorn very refreshing. She began with stating several of his flaws, laughing as she pointed out how foolishly proud he tended to be but her tone quickly turned to respect of even reverence as she stated how loyal, forgiving, gentle and, as she said it, “regal” he was.
While my experiences in high society have taught me that there was a huge difference between being “noble” and being “a noble”, you certainly remember that escapade, dear diary, I cannot say that I saw the whole picture at the time.
BUT, dearest diary, it was at this point of our conversation that finally gave me a hint of inspiration! As she noted that her term of endearment for him was “prince” or “king”, I inquired if she saw him to be the dominant in their relationship. She laughed honestly, stating that if he would ever be a king, his ambition to do good would doom us all (I am quoting her). A fact that I found very intriguing.
I am getting tired now, dear diary. I’ll finish tomorrow.

Dear diary
Tonight I had the most peculiar dream! I was having a marvellous pumpkin soup in presence of Princess Celestia herself. AND I WAS USING THE DESSERT SPOON! I awoke screaming and took quite long to find some more rest. Canterlot might be less balm for my nerves than I hoped.
Anyways, after I helped Sassy open shop, I began working on the ensemble for Diamond Shadow. This mare screams dominance with every move. Rather fitting for a soldier, guess, so I decided to reflect it. I think I will go for high-heeled boots. Boots like that always have an heir of control about them and the slight change in height will put her flanks more in reach of her darling’s eyes. I played with the idea of purple, but I think I shall go with sable black and highlight it with purple. For her barrel I think a mesh-corset. If I put a fishnet on the side, I’d get a marvellous slimming effect. Not that she needs slimming, but she is a tad on the muscular side. If I am a bit tighter with the boots, it might push her haunch out and rounden… Finally, some front-leg stockings… with a mesh-hooflings! Yes! Oh, dear diary, she will look like a queen, spawned by Nightmare Moon herself! MOON! Of course! Silver Moon emblems! Goodness, I have to get back to my sketch book. Don’t be jealous beloved diary!

Dear diary
I have completed several sketches and thought of materials. Oh, Diamond Shadow will looks like a dark herald of Nightmare Moon herself! A succubus, eager to consume and consummate! Oh, what beautiful nightmares will await the two!

Dear diary!
INSPIRATION!
As I was looking through old books of stallion’s wear, I stumbled across a little piece of accessory that has almost completely disappeared from the world of fashion: The dickey, or tux-front! A quaint relic, used by poor stallions who could not afford to regularly wash shirts, so they wore a false shirt front underneath their tuxedo. I had a look at several designs and suddenly, I felt the soft lips of my muse!
I instantly drew up a sketch: Using a triangular dickey (now that I think about it: what an abhorred name!) as a basis, I added black borders and a tuxedo’s collar as well as a bow-tie. The effect was amazing! Not only does it give an heir of elegance and nobility, it also gives an optical illusion of making his shoulders look broader. And sadly, this stallion does need such a trick. I will go and try out a few more ideas. Wish my luck, oh, dearest diary!

Dear diary
I do hate to sound like a braggart, but I am very proud of myself. I finished the sketch. With a final stroke of inspiration, I connected the tux-front to a tight, black speedo. Again, the rim should nicely stress my awkward customer’s slender haunch and frame his flank. I also added bat motifs to his chest and tail. Maybe I can stitch the bat in a way to make it flutter when he walks?
Rarity, you can be so naughty!
With his mane and eyes, he could pass as a vampony. Though he lacks the bloodlust…
Oh, diary, how proud I am! Two beings of the night, a sultry succubus and a regal vampire, connected by a bond as dark as the new moon!
I should add a red rose to the collar! It would go amazing with his eyes.

Dear diary
Today I invited Diamond Shadow over to take measurements and show her the sketches. She was incredibly happy with my offer and just wondered if I could maybe remove the crown, I had planned. We compromised on a nice collar with silver moons and an amethyst. Then I took her measurements. Goodness, the poor mare! I had not noticed it due to her hairstyle, but as I placed the tape around her neck and her mane was brushed aside, I saw the map of scars and marks on her cheeks and temple. Of course, I did not ask where or how she had been hurt this badly, but I do wonder what fighting she has seen in her life. Anyways, her rough and direct manner seems much less out of place now. Though I do admire how well the constant training has formed her rump and how nice her fiancé’s cooking has added to her curves. Those boots will make them look outright delectable!

Dear diary
They surprised me yet again! This time, Autumn came to have his measures taken and goodness did I not expect this. He brought a small basket of home-grown truffles (he refused to explain how he managed to accomplish such a feat of myoculture and I will not look a gift truffle in the mouth). After happily accepting the pitch, I took measurements. Now, professional as I was, I would not have minded if he got a bit… excited from the touch of the measuring tape or the hooves of a mare such as myself on his coat, but I did not expect movement like that from under his scarf. With my curiosity peaked, I removed it and he screamed in surprise, followed by me.
What I was peculiar indeed!
From what he told me, Autumn belongs to a long line of alchemists and had at some point enrolled in the school for gifted unicorns. There he had made a terrible mistake with a potion and permanently added an additional, unnatural appendage to his neck. Now I understand why he insists on wearing that thick scarf.
Far be it of me to judge the poor dear, but he could have warned me. It is very frightening to a lady to remove a scarf and be greeted by a fleshy, hairy tentacle wobbling about. When I mentioned that I would ask for a photo of the attire, he agreed, but demanded that the camera be posed in a way to obscure his little uniqueness. Still, he was a delight to have. And firmer than I expected. Apparently he is taking pole-dancing lessons, since they had a spare pole in the house. Luna knows why, but I begin to see what Diamond Shadow sees in him. What mare wouldn’t enjoy a stallion who wants to look his best for her AND takes pole-dancing lessons?

Dear Diary
The pieces are in place. I finished the ensembles and they are gorgeous! I sent two letters, asking the two to come to the boutique with 15 minutes between them and sent one to the back door. Now all I have to do is set up the camera and let love have its way.
Oh, I am so excited!

Dear Diary
Oh, beloved diary, what an evening I had!
I welcomed Diamond Shadow punctual at the front of the boutique and instantly asked her inside. As she entered the booth, her eyes began to sparkle, I swear, and she stressed how much she loved the boots. I had her put the ensemble on immediately and oh, dear diary, she looked incredibly! So strong, seductive and eager! As is custom, I asked her to come and freshen up a little, so I could take a picture of her.
Just in time, because then Autumn appeared. He was also smitten with his setup (I christened it “The Tux-speedo), especially with how I managed to add his scarf to the ensemble. I let him put it on and asked him to be very quiet before the photo shoot (a little white lie helped me along). Then I intercepted his fiancée from the back room and told her to be quiet as well. Both obliged, much too happy with their ensembles to care about why I asked for their silence.
Then, I let it happen!
I called for Autumn to join me in the photo area and as he left his booth, their eyes fell out. Since I royal wedding, I have not seen a couple looking at each other with such love and desire. They just looked, not a word spoken, not a breath wasted. Slowly, they began to move, circling each other, taking in the view, enjoying my hard work on the bodies they have become to know so well and intimately. Finally, they fell into each other’s embrace and kisses. I had to avert my gaze, dear diary, though I couldn’t keep myself from giggling.
Finally, their passion ebbed (or rather: They managed to hold it for the time being) and they agreed to model for me. I had him hold a rose in his mouth and her showing the back of her boots. I managed to capture the love and desire their eyes magnificently for they refused to look at the camera and was how much I was praised by them. They promised to have a look at my regular line as well and I waved two very happy customers goodbye.
Oh, dear diary, its evenings like these that make all the hours of planning, sketching and sewing absolutely worth it. So much adoration and love and I know that I helped that spark, even if only a little.
Now excuse me, dear diary, I am feeling very tired and maybe Luna will send me a pleasant dream for what I did for her followers. For I am rather certain that they will not sleep much this night…
