Good news for Nyx and The Shadow of Nightmare.

Now that my upcoming Derpy fic is awaiting its edits and cover art, I've found time for gaming again and a chance to pick up Nyx and the Shadow of Nightmare chapter two. I expect it to be finished by the end of march, provided hospital appointments and motivation don't get in the way, ultimately, whether the chapter is out by the months end is up to my editor.

On the topic of this story, I have decided to extend it past its original three chapters and I am aiming for at least ten chapters that should be fun to do when I'm taking breaks from other stories. And as promised I will be writing Nyx and the Sunset chapter seven once I am finished with Nyx and The Shadow of Nightmare chapter two.

Update: Having recently re-watched Forcedemodo's Past Sins track, I have considered re-vamping Nyx and the Shadow of Nightmare to have no connection to Tears in the Snow, and instead act a little closer to Past Sins in terms of storytelling, tone and continuity, provided the idea is given enough interest, changes will come to the first chapter as a result. It will be separate from my other Nyx stories.

I know a lot of people like the story as it is, and so I don't want to change something unless a majority of the readership is on board with this idea. I find this story fun to write and I have no qualms with re-writing the story to be as meaningful and with the same love Pen Stroke showed Past Sins. Other than a continuity shift, the plot of the story remains unchanged.
