Anniversary Blog (two days late)

I've been on this site for seven years, time flies very quickly.

I was still in school back then and fifteen years old with hardly a grasp of the scope of the fandom at the time. I was a faster and much more confident writer back then, if a bit basic. I've made some good friends here. It was through the people I've met here that I've improved and come to be a better writer, and I'm still learning, I'm just a bit slower, some people can write with the wind at their back and I admire them for their certainty.

Friendship Is Magic is in an odd place for me now but the show has been a blast, otherwise. I don't like certain aspects of it but the show is what made me settle on writing as a thing I want to do, and I picked up a lot on the way. I've nothing to show for it at the moment, it's a work in progress.

It's been fun. i didn't have much planned for a blog, it's mostly a rambley thing.
