Since it's one month since my latest update of Fallout: Equestria Girls (already? 
), I decided I need to make a blog post and tell all my readers how it is going. Look below the break.
Chapter 23 is already over 11,000 words long, which meets the bare minimum I had set in my previous post, but only 35-40% or so complete plot-wise. This chapter has three "sections" in it:
1) Small rest for the girls. This section is done already.
2) Preparation for a major plot event. This section is by itself divided into three parts plus a small outro. I have just finished writing the second part and will start on the third one ASAP.
3) Major plot event itself. This section has an intro, and then the line splits into several "arcs" running in parallel until the conclusion.
Once this plot event concludes, I can finally move onto the current main quest - "find Sunset's magic book in ruins of Trottingham".
I debated whether to post a small part of the chapter as a teaser, but decided against it, since the segments are too interlinked together, in my opinion. But I can afford a small tease for you:
1) Applejack will finally don her power armour.
2) You're going to see badass Sunset.
As for my further plans, I can officially declare now that the Sci-Twi/Flash fanfic I had mentioned in my previous blog is in works now. Main plot points have been established and I am slowly wrapping them up in words.
This fic will be multi-chaptered, but won't be published until all the chapters are complete, unless I suddenly decide otherwise.
Plus, remember me mentioning a secret project? Well... pause for dramatic effect...

Nope, it's still a secret! 
But I will reveal what it is in a future blog post, once a certain element of it is ready. Keep in mind, though, it is even farther in the works than Sci-Twi/Flash story I am thinking on right now.

I was wondering why the next chapter was taking longer than the other ones. Glad to see its because the amount of awesome its going to contain requires time, patience, and many words.
And thanks for keeping everyone following the story informed about the progress of the next chapter.

You're welcome. I didn't want to make everyone worried about the story, so I decided to write this post. The progress could have gone better, but my job and other duties have not been kind to my writing as of late.
