It's January, and for everyone who has finished ER250 and read the end of the story blog post, you know what that means. And for those that don't... Well, surprise!

Empress Rarity's 251st Birthday

Sometime this month, ER251 will be published and released. When exactly, I have no idea. The edits for the Prologue and Chapter 1 were completed last night. Together, they total around 9,000 words. They might be released together, or the Prologue first and Chapter 1 the next day. A re-read though is being planned for the next few days, which will be undertaken by Autumnschild, myself, and my sister who will be doing some pre-reader work for me until March. The goal will be to make sure everything checks out, that sentences and ideas are completed, grammar is well done and everything flows nicely together.

Life has been hell for Autmnschild and myself, (editing started around mid October, I think) so I don't exactly have a surplus of chapters standing by like I originally wanted. Updates will be on an "as soon as possible" mode. My apologies about this. I am going to start aiming for a regular schedule of updating, which will be either monthly, or every other week. I would like to try and have a surplus built up, we'll see. But I do not want that mess which was happening at the end of ER250, where updates were months apart.

I would love to talk about the story right now; share ideas, thoughts, and my plans for it. But I don't want to ruin anything. With the blog post that announces the story, I'll be more open in it about the story, but not now. I can say that this is going to be more in tone of action and adventure, than Comedy and Slice of Life.

UPDATE: ER251 has passed through Autumnschild, myself, and my sister. Just another inspection read from me, and it will be locked, loaded, and ready to publish.
