For those who are fans of Past Sins, from a long time ago or just recently, I have to call your attention once more to the comic being done by SaturnStar14. For over two years now she has dedicated a wondrous amount of time and energy to bring Past Sins into a visual medium. She's made more progress on a comic version of Past Sins than anyone else before, and now, today, she has reached one of the story's key moments. The crux of Chapter 10, and the moment of Celestia's great mistake.

I've read it, not bad. While I have to admit the artwork is a little, amateurish, it's an excellent comic.
I haven't been keeping up with the comic, and then I see this... Wow...
How did I not know about this
Past sins is one of my favorite fics and now I get to read it again 
At which point tia knocks Nyx out with a spell since Nightmare wouldn't holler for her mother.
Never been able to feel any sympathy for the nag when Nyx comes back and sends her to the sun, just contempt and the wish to tell tia she got off easy.
So, everyone then.
I've been wondering for over a year now how this would turn out once the comic got to this stage. It's been such a cute and heartwarming comic up until this point, but inevitably, it would have to take that turn for the tragic.

Yeah, I've seen it appear in my dA updates for a long time; SaturnStar14 posts them in the Belgian Bronies group, which I follow.
Haven't gotten around to reading it yet, though.

I must tell you something, PenStroke. I was sceptical towards your story, or actually I was sceptical about all MLP stories in general since it was at the time I only discovered FimFiction.
The initial idea: Nightmare Moon as a filly? Doesn't sound really promising, does it? But when I started reading, I fell more and more in love with this little alicorn. You did something amazing my friend, something that many authors, myself included, are still persuing: you've created an original character that with her story becomes an icon! Nyx, with her story, blends so naturally with the canon it's just insane! Hasbro should contact you and ask if they can turn your story into an actual cartoon!
And that scene, stars above, that scene is probably the one that had the biggest impact on me. I'm a 28 year old male and I had to stop myself from bawling like a little girl. Every time I go back to it, by either the original story, the fanart, or that comic, it always brings tears to my eyes, and I can actually hear that terrifying scream of a child.
What I want to say is this: Thank you for your hard work, and thank you for Nyx.
Yeah, I can hear it. And it really pulls some strings in my heart.
But, your story of Past Sins, is a super powerful story, there were some bits that really made me cry. But it is by far the greatest story I'very ever read. And I love Nyx, very, very much!
The heartbreak was bad enough when I read it in the story, but when I saw it in the comic, that made the heartbreak so much worse.
Oh what i'd do for a (well) animated version.
Dangit... My heart frigging ripped in half when I first read that sliver of a moment in the story. (You weren't even done writing the story at the time... Good ol' gdocs.) It's still possibly my favorite story, emotionally speaking, even after all these years.
So yeah, thanks for that. :P
But that's awesome that someone has gotten that far into the story in illustration. Congrats to them. Let 'em know to keep up the good work!

Not gonna lie. When I read that part of your story, I felt my heart break. But when I saw the comic version, my heart didn't break.

Keep in mind this is chapter 10, out of 21. And the comic was started over two years ago. So you might not want to get too excited yet. Uhh, not trying to sound like a downer, I read part of the comic, it's pretty well done. And I really applaud SaturnStar's determination to take on a project of this size.
Sir, if it wasn't a fanfic, Past Sins would be an award-winning novel. You're one of the people who inspired me to start my own fic, and I wish I had half the writing talent you have.
3671711 I wasn't hopeing, I was supriced. We know that Past Sins weren't short and after Nyx becomes NMM the story starts those insuferable thought moments that take some time.
