2016 A New Year, A New Beginning... and Progress Updates (Also Story Mentions) · 6:02pm Jan 1st, 2016

Yes? However, that of course isn't the case for me. I don't really make new year resolutions, so everything I was doing just travels over with me into the new year. I've been slowly decreasing in the productivity of my everyday living. I literally have dropped to the point where I simply do not have a purpose for pursuing anything. It's clashing against even what I like to do which is to write.

So to combat this case I'm dealing with I will strive even harder to get my stories done this year as never before which means that I will not be commenting on the threads as much like in years gone by. And now that I have my docs working again I would like to start my editing portfolio for becoming and EQD prereader. I think I should be one.

Now onto the workings of my "The Known World" series...

Now for those of you that have read the chapter you guys would have probably come across some familiar characters or villains that we all know of. I will not go into further detail with them. However, these two villains will be extremely old in years as they come to the present.

In this chapter, you basically get a sense of what present as the highest power although I don't into much yet on the universe. In the coming chapters these will be further explained such as the lore of the realms and the creatures that will be introduced expanded upon throughout. I hope I didn't bore most of those who have read through my chapter.

I'm currently half way done with the second chapter. I should be finished pretty soon.

Now I don't know if any of you have read through my other stories, but this one was my headcanon of the show's side character "Wildwood Flower" (She's seen in the episode where Applejack goes to the rodeo and comes out second place) and thought with the guitar as her cutie mark why not make her a guitar smashing pony.

I'm going to continue this story while making small necessary edits to the original chapters and the story description. I suggest giving it a read if you're into the whole wild west with cowboys and villains and whatnot.

This series behind the return of Sombra and taking place prior to Season 4 and 5, technically. This one is basically Sombra coming back into rule and taking back not only the Crystal Empire but ruling all of Equestria. It has three chapters already, but I'm don't have any future plans for this series yet. Will notify when ready.

This story will be continued as well. However, as of right now I do not have any future plans for this story as of yet although I seem to be done with a third of the chapter, having exactly seven hundred and forty-four words typed up.^^

Yes, this story. Attack on Equestria. Now this is probably the worst written story I have on here if you look at the comments. I thought about deleting this one from time to time, but I think i'm going to finally pull through and make this one of the most redeemed and greatest written long stories. I think I owe it that and that is what I will do. But unfortunately I have little future plans for this one, so I'm going to wing it with what I have imagined for months and see where it takes me for this story.

For all other stories, I will notifty you all of in the future. Now time for a few mentions of the stories that I think you guys should take a read at for the new year.

The Song of the Unbroken: Black Dawn

I would add that if you don't read any other long stories or if you're just tired of reading crappy long stories that take a bit to start up, just read this. To save a longer explanation, you will not be disappointed. You would actually come to like the series that this amazing author has written up.

From all that I have read throughout my years on this site, stories like this one goes through so much in justice and to keep this one underground would be just wrong, a great wrong my part. Pearls and diamonds are to be admired not remain stuck to some rock, yes?

So if you should add any story to your reading list I would say to please consider this one. If you like the walking dead, I am sure you would like this one because it comes pretty close as far as the feelings felt from experiencing them both.

The greatly written story by Scootareader. I think you guys should check it out. This in my opinion should be Tirek's actual backstory it was written so good. Please give this one a read!
