To any who are awaiting the next chapter of Disease of the Soul, I am afraid I must inform you all that it will be going on a temporary hiatus for the time being. There are three reasons why: The first is that I seem to have lost much of my inspiration in writing it that I previously had when I first began to spew whatever nonsense happened to cross my mind out onto this site, and much of that inspiration has shifted to my other stories.
The second reason is that I just seem to be at a bit of a loss as to how I actually want it to end. At first I had an idea that seemed good at the time, but as time went on I realized it really was not that great.
The third and final reason is that it is rather difficult trying to divide my attention between three stories and make sure that each one gets the proper amount of attention it deserves. Now, I do recall that this is my first story that I published, but I want to make absolutely sure that I am able to write it well.
In short, Disease of the Soul will be going on hiatus to allow myself a moment to take a step back from it and reevaluate what I want to happen in it. Do not despair however, as it will not be a permanent hiatus. Disease of the Soul has not been abandoned, nor will it ever be.
Sincerely, Dilos1
That's bad... Still I will wait for next chapter, that is your best story.
Perfectly understandable. I've faced this challenge myself and all I can really say is that taking a step back and thinking over how you want the story to end is important. While both of us probably value how much our readers enjoy the story, we've also gotta enjoy writing it in order to really feel happy with what we've made!
Good luck and remember to make something that you yourself enjoy!

Thank you both for willing to be patient with me. I just didn't want to end it on something that seemed contrived or not very well thought out, so I just felt it would be better to take a step back and refresh myself a little.

Thanks for the follow! Have you had time to read my other stories? If so what do you think of them?
