So first a quick update on my computer situation: I took in to see if anything was salvageable, and apparently there was something wrong with the hard drive that they did not have the means to fix without ordering in and installing a brand new one, which would have been rather costly Getting anything off the old was essentially out of the question without it costing even more. Needless to say I chose to cut my losses. Thankfully I have a backup computer.
Smoothly Segwaying into the next topic, I was looking through some of my old sketchbooks when I just so happened to come across this little piece.
I'm pretty sure that I made this sometime in late 2015 or something, back when I was really into the franchise.
In case any of you are curious as to the story behind it, here's how it boils down: one day, as I perusing through Fimfiction, notably the parts that had to do with Mare-Do-Well, I began to wonder what might have been if Twilight Sparkle herself had taken up the cape and cowl. I even had a short synopsis written up, in which upon visiting Canterlot and catching a brief glimpse the sorts of the trouble that arises by way of saving both herself and a photographer from a midnight mugging, Princess Twilight Sparkle chooses to take it on as Mare-Do-Well (albeit after a couple months of "vacation time" wherein she's secretly training in the art of hoof-to-hoof combat) all the while feigning noninvolvement with some help from Discord. She even manages to help out the previously mentioned photographer (I never came up with a name for him, so for now I'll just call him Flash Pan) by way of letting him get exclusive photographs of her in action, and eventually the two begin to share an attraction for each other.
That was all I had at the time, and it has since stayed that way as I moved on to other stories and ideas, not the least among being Hollow Shades, the concept of which was birthed soon after this one.
Now that I'm bringing this up, I find myself wondering if I should give it another go, or if any who happen to reading this might be interested. Seems a shame to let this image go unused after all.
You should write on google docs. Not the best software but everything is saved on the cloud where computer doesn't matter
