Well, the great day is here

Back in Summer of 2013 I reached 1,000 followers. Now here I am, two and a half years later with twice the amount. But just because it was a slower ascent than before doesn't mean that I'm any less grateful for the people who've decided to follow me. And whether you're someone who just showed up last week or someone who has seen me grow up through all of my trial and tribulations on this electronic horseword distribution and indexing center... I appreciate you for it.
I never thought I'd reach an audience like this for my work. And even if all of you aren't here for my writing, and even if a story of mine is rarely ever featured, I'm still glad you've all decided me worthy to watch. It's important to me that you guys care, and I'm glad you do.
With this, I've finally made it to the top of the ranking list I made all the way back in 2012 when I only had a couple hundred followers, which was still way more than I ever anticipated. And with the help of all you guys, I've managed to become the 40th most watched user on the site. And I'm just petty enough to take pride in that. 
When I joined this site three and a half years ago, I had a vision of becoming a name people would recognize. It was the ditzy dream of a socially maladjusted 14 year old who was bathing in the full autism spectrum because he had just discovered both pop punk music and the My Little Pony fandom at the same time... but for better or for worse that little fever dream came true.

3609605 I've been watching all the old simpsons episodes starting from the first. On season three right now and while it's pleasantly entertaining and really cool to see how all the different characters were first introduced and developed, I can't say it's exactly a "laugh out loud" show. I blame the generation gap; this is from 1991 and Matt Groening and co's humor never really resonated with me until 99 with Futurama.
3609621 The base of the show's humor usually relies on references. You don't need to understand what they're talking about to appreciate the jokes, but it helps. Futurama's humor is more direct and much more of it is based in the show, so it's funnier to a wider range of people. It's all comes down to personal preferences.
