I do like philosophically-based stories and stories that bring my mind to very fantastic locations.
I recently read both Through the Well of Pirene and Project: Sunflower
Both were very good in my opinion. They're sitting in my top favorites section.
3587070 Have you read the Austraeoh series? It starts with Austraeoh and goes on for eight stories (out of planned twelve) now. Can't tell what happens, because discovering that is part of the experience; but Rainbow Dash flies east and the landscape descriptions are neat.
