The Cold Ends With Flu

Brownie Bun's experience with cold medicine's pretty similar to my own.

Well, 'tis the season for colds and influenza again, and yours truly caught the brunt of it. My friend Heather jokes that it was a consequence of me leaving my house when I'm something of a shut-in, but I honestly haven't the foggiest where I caught it this time. It just seems like an annual occurrence for me to catch a cold at least once. This, of course, will impede my writing ability due to the lethargy that such a sickness induces, so now more than ever, I won't be making much progress unless I really power through it.

The ironic thing is, I was just getting into the groove of using my new bike the day I caught my cold. But hey; codeine highs are kind of awesome.

I'll do my best to try and get it done by the end of the month, but no promises.
