Oh, man am I happy about these new tags!
Especially the new Sci-Fi and Equestria Girls tags!
More details as to why after the break.
Sci-Fi because, well, I've written a lot of Sci-fi lately, (for certain definitions of 'a lot,' anyway...) and it was a pain to tag. As such, EqF: Deadeye's Infiltration has had its AU replaced with Sci-Fi, while Storm Clouds on the Horizon has simply gained the Sci-Fi tag.
And EqG because, well, it's really a necessary distinction. EqG's aren't quite 'Human' fics.
I think of it in a five stage scale, like the one I've made below:
1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5
Full Pony - Biped Pony (G2) - Anthro - EqG - Human.
EqGs aren't Anthro, obviously. Even while 'Ponying Up', they're still almost indistinguishable from a normal human, physically speaking. With the exception of wings and ears, all they get is hair extensions. That's kinda why I see them as the stage between Human and Anthro on my chart, because those things ain't human either- the skin tones, proportions, and hair colors are all wrong.
That's also discounting the merits of giving the entire EqG universe a tag, as to distinguish an EqG fic from any old HiE fic.
So yeah, definitely the happiest I've been about a FimFiction update to date. Prob'ly not going to get much mileage out of the character tags once they show up, seeing as I usually do OCs, but they're a welcome addition too.
