Researcher Twilight Status Update and News. · 6:15am Sep 24th, 2015
As some of you may recall from my last blog, I found myself unsure what to do with the direction I wanted to take Researcher Twilight. For thsoe who didn't know, NoisyPegasus approached me with a suggestion and idea of essentially rebooting the series with his aide as co-author. I won't lie, this was a tough thing to think about. I asked for some opinions and weighed in what readers thought, because in the end, the story is all for you guys. I wanted what was best for the readers.
After a number of conversations and building up of an outline to present to me of his reboot idea, I found myself with new-found inspiration to continue the series as is, turning his proposition down. So in short, Researcher Twilight will continue as planned.
However I do like what he had in mind and suggested he write out his own take of the Researcher Twilight Universe. This would allow me to continue in the direction that myself and NATO planned with the original, as well as allowing NoisyPegasus more freedom to write up his take on the universe. I'll be watching over his story as the editor to make sure he doesn't go too crazy with it.
His plan is to go more in depth with a number of events within the story, as well as characters and their interactions and relationships to one another. (Pretty much what I would have done had I written the story from the beginning.) So it will be interesting to see how he tells the story of twilight's dark decent. So those of you who really enjoy the actual premise of Twilight's fall from grace might want to keep an eye out for his take on the story in the near future.
As for myself? I've picked up working on the story when I can. However as I mentioned in the previous blog, I've manged to climb the corporate ladder to Co-author of Maximus Reborn's Spiders and Magic series. So a vast majority of my writing time and attention will be there for some time, as we are currently in the process of writing the finale and conclusion to the series. Once that is finished, I'll be returning my full attention to my stories once again.
So sit tight. More Researcher Twilight will be on it's way in time; and in more forms than one.
Glad to hear more from you, while I wasn't supportive of rebooting the story I'm fine if his just ends up being an alternative spin-off, more Research Twilight for everybody hopefully. I hope things go well for you and eagerly await any sort of continuation for the series

I hope I can get the first chapter out quickly, I've already got the first 3k in the first chapter down, a more fitting start. I can only hopeI give a fun and enjoyable fic to read. I also hope that Azu will continue to gain inspiration.

As an aside...
I looked through NoisyPegasus's draft for his first chapter and immediately shot it down, due majorly to concerns of blatant plagiarism in several areas and me just not liking what he was doing with my characters. Now that I've returned, I have little to no interest in a reboot of my story, but if he want's to attempt to continue it, that's on him. I won't be endorsing it.
That being said, he didn't seem interested in continuing without my blessing. Pretty sure the reboot has been shit-canned.
