This post is to officially announce Ponies of the Cursed Seas- Rise of the Fiends, the sequel to Ponies of the Cursed Seas. Here's a brief summary so you know what to expect:
When ships begin to disappear off the coast of the Ottomare Empire, Captain Montana Mays asks Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy to accompany him on his mission to find out who or what is causing the disappearances. Now the members of the Equestrian Navy, along with the Bearers of the Elements of Kindness and Magic, must face off against one of the most powerful members of the Cursed faction
I'm still working on the first few chapters, so the story won't be published for at least a week. Still, I'm open to ideas that you might have concerning the story, and would be glad to hear your feedback
Oh nice!!!! Looking forward to it.
A few suggestions:
-Maybe formally introduce Captain Mays and the officers to Canterlot society and Princess Luna.
-The Princesses tour the Concordia.
-Mays finds a way to send a message back to his world.
-A ship from a rival power finds its way to Equestria....or maybe a ship from Equestria gets taken to the Pirateverse?
-find ways to add historical details (I know its a gameverse but some RL details can add to the Atmosphere.)

St. George's Ensign will fly... but not in this story, sadly
I like the idea of Mays and co. meeting Luna on more official terms, what with Luna still struggling with standard operating procedure. As for the Canterlot elite... well, Mays was drunk at the time, and it was Prince Blueblood

Mays and Blueblood? Uh oh........if Blueblood was a boor to Mays, I can see Mays challenging him to a duel. (US Naval officers were quite fond of duelling....I read some accounts of duels), Stephen Decatur was killed in such a duel.
BTW I have an idea for my own pony historical empire....the Coltic people; specifically the Icanti tribe lead by the fierce warrior queen Broncica!
270790 I completely forgot about naval officers being duel happy.
Mind if I use this?
273500 Help yourself. Also do not forget that flogging was another aspect of naval life at the time; discipline was harsh on naval vessels in the Age of Sail.
