As of today, I am 27.
Normally I'd say "eh, it's not much different from 26", but in a lot of ways, it is. A lot has changed in the last year for me- got divorced, moved cross country, reignited my faith which had been stagnant for years, got my first solo apartment, started a new job, started some original work I'm hoping to get published someday. I feel tired, weary, but at the same time excited for what's to come. My sister is having her first child in July, I'm doing well at my job even if I don't always enjoy the work (company's great, though), and I'm writing again. All good things if I do say so myself.
I also got to ride in a Tesla today. That was pretty cool.
April also marks my 10th anniversary on FIMFic. My writing has improved a lot since I first put fingers to keyboard and started writing ponies, and I feel the experience has helped me mature both as a creator and as a person. I still have a lot to learn, but the experience here has been a great one at the end of the day.
So as I wait for my flight back to Connecticut, I want to thank you all for your continued support through the years. I doubt I would have made it this far without you guys, and I hope things go well for you as well.
