Well, first off, I can't believe it's been a year and some change since I became a Brony. Looking back offers some interesting perspective... I marvel at the decisions and events that have happened in the last year, and how far I've come. Back when I first started writing Prime, I had no idea what I was doing; I had never written a fan fiction before that. So many ideas and scenes I wanted to put in we're silly and terribly high on the Mary Sue scale. I can particularly remember the one OC that I had planned on putting in that was so over-the-top that even I could recognize how awful it was; I shudder at the memory of how close I was to putting him in and how disastrous that would have been.
Another cool thing ive found is that Prime has kind of morphed and evolved over the course of its writing. I suppose I should have expected it, but it is rather interesting to see how differently my plan for the story is now than it was when I first started out. The biggest change is, coincidentally, one of the most crucial parts of the story; how I planned on handling the Elements of Harmony in terms of corruption. I have a completely different plan now compared to a year ago, and I am very glad for the change, because I think the original plan would have been too bloated and risky in terms of potential screw-ups character-wise.
Also, I want to apologize for such an intolerable delay since the last chapter of Prime. I don't really have a good excuse... My only hope is that I can make it up to you.
Which brings me to my last item on the agenda; National Pony Novel Writer's month is coming up soon, and I hope to take part in it. I don't know what I want to write, though... I have so many different story ideas that i want to turn into novels (I think it's around five or six different ideas), but I also want to finish Prime. The thing is that if I write Prime, it can't be part of the actual event. If any of you have a particular preference as to what you'd like to see or if you have advice, I'd love to hear it.

The mind and body are fickle beings... rarely agreeing on anything except breathing and fine dining...
My mind thought the jalapeños would be a good addition to my dinner, but my body didn't agree :|. But that's beside the point, I can now be a psychologist :D.
