Spoilers for upcoming work.
For the last part of The Ballad of Rainbow Dash and Time Turner: Romance Novels can Suck it, Dash is telling the rest of the mane 6 she's getting married. (This takes place sometime after season 5, and has technically diverged during season 3, so any contradictions with seasons 4, 5, and 6 are irrelevant.)
Basically their response are currently:
-Fluttershy: Happy (will later be the Maid of Honor. Irrelevant to the question, but the other Bridesmaids are Flitter, Cloudchaser, Applejack, Pinkie and Ditzy)
-Rarity: Already aware (Turner has been going to her for advice, so she's aware of it in advance)
-Applejack: Also happy, although she personally thinks it's abit soon.
-Pinkie: Pinkie.
Twilight is the one that I'm on the fence about.
The original plan was to have her be happy and gladly accept the role of Marriage Officiant/Celebrant.
the alternate is...she doesn't approve.
She thinks Dash is rushing into it and isn't ready/mature enough/prepared/insert reason her to get married.
Naturally this leads to a split, and while she's still invited to the wedding, Dash and Turner are looking for a new Celebrant (Possibly Berry Punch or Cherry Blossom).
Firefly, Bluestreak, Clagan and Fortuna find out and aren't particularly happy that Twilight thinks she knows better.
This may or may not lead to Firefly punching Twilight, Clagan withdrawing his donation to build Twilight's school, and discussion between Twilight and the more reasonable parents.
Ultimately, it leads to Twilight realizing that it doesn't mater what she thinks: her friends are going to make their own choices and deal with it's consequences. Dash and Twilight make up, and Twilight is once again the Celebrant.
the problem is that it seems to be 1: bullying Twilight into doing it, 2: makes Twilight seem like she's being unreasonable or needlessly antagonistic.
So I suppose the question is which seems like the better option?
Well, you could have a balance of both. Have Twilight be happy for Rainbow and accept the role of officiating the wedding at first, then have her reservations about them rushing into it grow over the course of the wedding plans she and the others would most likely take part in through snippets of her observations of Rainbow with Time Turner.
Then have her pull Rainbow aside to discuss her findings but it blows up in her face and Rainbow flies off angry and becomes mopey. The parents soon learns what happens and do some 'damage control'. They help patch things up between Rainbow and Twilight so everything will end as you wish without making Twilight needlessly antagonistic.
Of course, this is just my two bits, use them (or not) as you will.
the second option very much sounds like bullying Twilight, especially since you never say that Twilight refuses to participate in the wedding. I mean she's apparently still going to attend. Which, when punched by the bride's mother is a pretty big deal
Frankly, I don't think Twilight would be a good wedding planner unless you want the wedding to be planned to the second to the point it will fall apart if it falls behind. Pinkie is far better.
I don't like Twilight getting bullied as much as the second option is showing. I just don't like it. It doesn't sound like your other stories that are so funny.

Twilight isn't the wedding planner, she's the priest.
The one who gets to do the whole "Mawige bwings us togethwa" bit.
Pinkie, Fortuna and Firefly are doing the planning.
