Predictions For the Rest of Season 5 (Also Updates) · 7:39pm May 20th, 2015
So it appears that leaked episode title list was legit. So, in the interest of fun, here's my guesses as to what each episode has in store.
11.Party Pooped
-Pinkie Pie episode, of course. Pinkie Pie parties a little too hard and ends up calling up some fellow party ponies (including Cheese Sandwich and Party Favor) to help out while she rests.
12.Amending Fences
-At a bit of a loss here. Amending implies a change in agreement. Perhaps a treaty of some kind?
13.Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?
- Luna nightmare episode! YEAH!
14.Canterlot Boutique
-Rarity expands her business to Canterlot... bringing her into direct competition with Hoity Toity!
15.Scare-Master
-Deliberate call-back to Season 1? I think so. Fluttershy episode where she finds out how fun it is to scare her friends but takes it too far.
16.Rarity Investigates
-Rarity... stick with me here... investigates something.
17.Made in Manehattan
-Coco Pommel returns! Other than that, no idea. The title reminds my wife of one of her favorite movies.
18.Brotherhooves Social
-YES! Shining Armor versus Big Macintosh! Steel Cage Match! BOOK IT!
19.Crusaders of the Lost Mark
-Raiders references are always appreciated. I think this sees the return of Starlight Glimmer as she starts snatching Cutie Marks in Ponyville. Diamond Tiara begs the CMC to find her mark.
20.The One Where Pinkie Pie Knows
-(Nervously looks over shoulder)
21.Hearthbreakers
-Please, let us have some kind of romantic subplot this season. Please please please.
22.What About Discord?
-What about him? This really perplexes me, since it feels like we JUST had this episode.
23.The Hooffields and Mccolts
-AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! You guys don't understand. I've been borderline obsessed with the Hatfield and McCoy feud for YEARS.

This Week's Question;
Twilight Sparkle once hypothesized that every Alicorn had the potential for great good and great evil inside of them. Fail to conquer the evil, and the alicorn becomes something new.
This week, name the four evil sides of the four alicorn princesses (each worth one point.) An additional half point if you determine the event that led to the shift to darkness.
Luna: Nightmare Moon. Her unfounded(?) belief that even her student/lover Nevermore preferred her sister's light to her pushed her into desperation to make all Equestria see the beauty of her night, whether they wanted to or not.
Celestia: the Phoenix Queen. Grieving from being forced to banish her own sister, she became driven to burn all impurity from her domain before it could grow and cause her little ponies pain- whatever the other costs to them.
Cadance: the Crystal Empress. Learning that the love of her (immortal?) life betrayed her for another's embrace (and indeed that her beloved teacher had been in on it) literally struck her to the heart of all she was. She knows love hurts, and so will anypony else she thinks is in its way.
Twilight Sparkle: the Twilight of the Gods. She has come to build her life around the magic of friendship, and in this she has followed the hoofsteps of the great Princesses, as so many adoring subjects do. But if she was to learn that the selfish and impulsive actions of her mentor and the rest of the royal family had resulted in Equestria being threatened with a Storm like no other... well, she'd have a lot to think about. Perhaps the thought that focusing on relationships is dangerous, and ponydom would be safer guided by a more logical ruler....

Let me set the scene here. I'm alone at work. I am the only person here. I read the cage fight line and I laughed and clapped so loud it echoed through the library. And I have headphones on.
Seriously though, I want that cage fight.
And whatever story that trivia came from, I gotta read it. That sounds good.
Starlight Glimmer better show up in episodes during the rest of this season. I will be severely disappointed if she just pops back up from nowhere with her "Master Plan". At least some cameos or background scenes to show what she's up to (Hell, she could even be causing the problems the Mane Six are dealing with throughout the season. Even a mention of her at some point would be better than nothing.
Also, the semi-canon card game did have a "Nightmare Star" card for Evil!Celestia.

Luna: Nightmare Moon. What happened: Like in the show she was jealous that everypony loved her sister and not her. She thought that her lover, Nevermore, was cheating on her with her sister and almost killed him. He eventually left her, seeing as she couldn't say that she loved him. Veritas stated that Nevermore was the last straw, since her paranoia and jealous had been building ever since she lost Esmeralda.
Celestia: The Phoenix Queen. What happened: The throne.
Cadance: The Crystal Empress or Empress Cadance. What happened: She found out that Shining Armor had been cheating on her with Luna and had a child with her. Her teacher, Veritas, knew that Shining was with Luna.
Twilight: The Twilight of the Gods. What could happen: She kills Celestia and takes the throne to protect thousands of ponies from an upcoming war.
