Equestria at War Update - The Way of Fire (2.2)

Hey there everybody! I've emerged from the darkness to help spread the news about another project that I'm working on. As I've mentioned in the past, in addition to being a fimfic author, I'm also a senior writer on the Hearts of Iron 4 mod, Equestria at War (discord link here), which is a fun (and sometimes very time consuming) volunteer project to dedicate

Equestria at War: Shores of Zebrica

Hey hey people, been a while hasn't it? Yeah, it's ya boy with another one of those "drop off the face of the earth and then post a blog post out of the blue" moments. At least they only last a couple of months (usually) right?

A Song of Storms: Shattered Skies · 6:55am Mar 8th, 2015

HEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYY YYYYOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUU GGGGUUUUUUUUUYYYYYYYYYSSSSSS

My friend (and now authorial companion!) Sigur024 just released his story, A Song of Storms: Shattered Skies. It follows the story of two young griffons in the Red Cloud War, the same war that Hurricane fought in in Of Skies Long Forgotten, and offers the griffon perspective on Cirra, on Hurricane, on Magnus, on the war itself. If you're looking for something to compare Hurricane's perspective with, or just want to revisit the time of the War, give it a read! I'm helping to edit it so it stays true to my established canon, and I thoroughly enjoy it and whole-heartedly support it.

What? You're still here? Click the damn link already and get to reading!

It's off to a great start! Kind of surprised it took this long to get a fic from the gryphon side of things.

How much of a hand do you have in this? A lot of the story plotting? Is there a lot to navigate to keep events on your canon course?

I'm mainly involved in editing and making sure that anything he writes doesn't conflict with established or upcoming events. Other then that and offering suggestions on how the story should proceed, I largely let him write it and develop it himself.
