Hey hey people, been a while hasn't it? Yeah, it's ya boy with another one of those "drop off the face of the earth and then post a blog post out of the blue" moments. At least they only last a couple of months (usually) right?
Anyway, that's not what I'm here about. I'm hear to shill announce that the Hearts of Iron IV mod, Equestria at War (of which I am a writing lead on) has finally, after several years and countless "+2 weeks" memes, has finally released the long-anticipated Zebrica continent expansion! This update is easily the mod's largest to date and features some of the best content we have ever made. The update adds an entirely new continent and unique content for the nations along its northern coastline, such as the hippogriffs of Mount Aris and the descendants of Nightmare Moon's long-exiled army, and a large number of awesome, wacky, and esoteric paths, nations, characters, and more. For those of you who are familiar with the mod and have long awaited this day, I can assure you it will surpass your expectations. The team has really outdone itself this time, and I am very proud of what our writers have been able to create for the update. Though I only personally contributed a few events here and there, the sheer amount of work that the team put in to make this update and these countries some of the best experiences in the game yet is both astonishing and undeniable. I hope you all will enjoy reading the wonderful stories and narratives we have crafted once you finally get your hands on it!
