Everyone, I am brimming with pride to inform you all that the last chapter/epilogue of Maternal Instinct has now been finished and uploaded for you all to see. After two years, the story has finally reached its conclusion.
And to shamelessly rip from my A/N on the chapter:
I want to take the time to thank all those who have been following this story throughout, be it from beginning or even just yesterday (Sorry though that I haven’t always been that quick and frequent to reply to comments). However, special thanks goes to those who have helped me out with the story, particularly in editing and pre-reading: Chaodiurn and Scarheart! I could not have finished this journey without your help and support.
I have always been a massive fan of Queen Chrysalis, the changelings and the different ways they can be explored, and this story gave me a great means of doing so, that and I’ve always found the parent-child relationship a wonderful area to explore. Princess Pupa has become, without a doubt, my favourite personal OC and I hope to one day returning to her and this world in the future. Yeah, while I may leave the Maternal Instinct as it is for the foreseeable future, that doesn’t mean I’ve put it to bed for good.
As for what’s next, well, have no fear because Citizen Weevil is still alive and kicking. Don’t worry, there’s no way I’m letting that one slip through the cracks. Also, good news, there is a new story I shall be working very soon. It’s gonna be a full-on comedy, some politics and some raunchy stuff. Not going to give anything else away, but it’s title is ‘That Special Relationship’.
So until then, sayonara, friends, thank you very much for reading.
