Yes, I know it's a little late for holiday things, but I was a little busy yesterday. The new Super Smash Bros wasn't going to play itself! Anyway, I figure now is as good a time as any to give y'all a little update on things and things.
Firstly, my editor BradtheBrony and myself have been working on improving the earlier chapters of IAIMAY. Since I had written all of act one with no editor save for myself, those chapters were always a little rough around the edges and I've been wanting to polish them up for some time now. We've already polished and updated the first five chapters. Most of you may not even notice if you were to go an look at them now, but trust me when I say they're much prettier.
In addition to that, I've also been helping author BlueBastard out with a rewrite of one of his own stories, Seven Days in Sunny June Book II. It's part of a trilogy he's cowriting with Shinzakura (who I wrote The Long Arm for a while back). They're good stories and definitely worth a read if you're a fan of Sunset Shimmer and Equestria Girls (alternatively, if you're not a fan of EG but are interested in a fic that highly improves upon the otherwise mediocre movie. And yes, I still haven't watched Rainbow Rocks. I'm getting to it!).
Long story short, between these two projects I'm undertaking and the usual stuff that real life entails, I probably won't even begin planning out act 3 of IAIMAY until well into 2015. I still don't want to hold off on it for too long though. You definitely won't have to wait until summer or something for any word on IAIMAY, but don't expect any big updates come January. That being said, I might have a little surprise in store as some form of belated holiday gift to you folks for being so good this year!
