Alright, guys. I've got a little favor to ask a few of you.
Well, actually, a big favor.
See, I've got a lot of stories, written over the course of two and a half years (and going). Naturally, there's a general incline of quality. But there are also several spots of... not quality. As someone who is trying to clean stuff up and improve himself for the future, I want to be able to learn from the past.
But I can't do it all by myself, because I'm biased. So I'd like to ask any of you who would be willing to help me comb through my catalog to send me a PM, so I can talk to you in depth about what I want to get done: as a basic overview, I want you to help go through every one of my stories, and try and assess the quality. This WILL mean a lot of reading, and this WILL mean that a lot of these stories are going to be pretty bad.
It's ambitious, but I think we can do it. I'll be selecting the first couple of people to respond, but seeing as this project is rather daunting and time consuming, I don't expect there to be a ton of takers. So if you DO want to help out with this, your chances of getting in are pretty damn high.
For those of you who don't have time for that kind of thing, or just don't want to do it, it would be nice if you left me a comment about stories you did like, and what you felt went right, and about stories you didn't like, and what you felt went wrong.
Feedback is very important to me, so I really appreciate you guys for taking time to do something like this, even if it's only five minutes to post about why "All That Sparkles" is a terrible, edgy crapfest 
You know what could have made this process much easier? Slowly, steadily submitting your stories to WRITE and asking for specific things for the reviewers to focus on for each story.

Eh. So long as he doesn't submit all of them at once and reasonably spreads them out, we could deal. Of course, with that many stories, it'd be ideal if he'd have at least a vague idea of what he's looking to improve for each review. And then once certain reviews come in, being able to recognize that, "Story X has similar problems to Story Y, which just got reviewed, so probably don't need to send that in," would also go a long way.
(Regi, take the hint. It's never too late!)
Depending on how much you need done, I'd love to help with at least some of it.

Hmm I'm not sure how much my review will my review can do and I'm limited on time but I'm willing to help out when I can so I'll leave a comment about the stories I didn't like and do like when I read some of your stories.
I'd be able to go over some stories. My time to do things such as this are very sporadic and of varied lengths of time, but I'm sure I could help out a bit if you send some stories along.

Wow, this isn't daunting at all.
Admittedly the idea is attractive, but... you have a lot of stories. A LOT. Like, even with all of your #horsefame and willing helpers, this is nothing short of Herculean. Someone tip a fedora, already.
I think plenty of improved writers that've worked prolifically wish they could go back and edit all of the processes lost due to overwhelming inspiration - I'm a definite victim of that excitement, and have even gone so far as to post without any edits whatsoever.
Not good.
What's wonderful and damning about the artistic furor is capturing the initial spirit empowering it; a fleeting, furious desire tends to forego thoughtful reprieve, and therein remains a powerful push through a piece. Always. It's exciting and bold and beautiful for its raw presentation. Can you go back and fix that, I wonder?

Anyway, I'm lost in all the Regidar works. Some Love is so nice and polished whilst being all the raw feels I prefer, but it doesn't need fixing.
