I'm on a roll, it's time to go solo! · 9:17pm Nov 3rd, 2014
I'm inspired, yay! The vampony-storie is in the works, two new storied for Halloween, and today... another one. It is actually fun to really have that drive to write. It's been a while. To fill this space a bit, I'm going to rant about why some of my stories exist. (the real point of this blog will be revealed later on.)
The Equestrian Bully - my very first published, but not the first written. My very first exist in my native language only (and its not that good, so I'll never translate it.) This one is basically a rip of of "the cretin bull" by Agatha Christie. MY plan was just to write because I wanted to write, so I took a storyline I knew, and just wrote it for ponies. I still like the tone, but it's much more fun to wotk with your own ideas.
How to not make a pig squeal - After three stories of detective Pinkie I thought it was time for an idea of my own. How does a spycopath react when confronted with another psycho? Not THAT well executed, and a bit stupid, but I like the idea of Psycho Applejack. Its like Deliverance, in a way.
Shotgun Blues - Except for the fact that I don't really know what a shotgun is, I'm pretty satisfied with this one. Inspired by the song, with the lyrics acting as bridges...until it was pointed out that it was against the rules... I'm stupid at times. Don't like the ending, otherwise...no, I just like it. My own idea, based on my own feelings some years back. At this point, I felt that I actually wanted to write something good, and this is my first attempt.
Hunger - An attempt to write a parody of a bad vampire fic. I don't thing anyone got that. Except the bad part.
The Bride of Sparkle - Not sure about this, some parts are good, some are not. Pretty rushed. But I like the idea, and this was the first one I actually worked with for over a week.
Nighty Night, Star Shine - i got three kids. Nuff said.
Springtime: ponyville - as I said, I wrote the first, then I got inspired. For some reason, I didn't want to make new storied everytime. They are not going in any direction at all, but I like the ones about TWidash and FLuttermac.
Ponies buying contraceptives - a desperate attempt to gain some attention, but still, I can't help it. I really enjoyed writing it. The follow up was fun to.
Nocturne: the visitor - was originally named RAIRTY, and everypony assumed it was a mispelling and didn't care to read it...... Which, by the way (yes Vivian...I know) my editor pointed out to me when I presented the idea to him...And I went away with it anyway. This is sort of my magnum opus at the moment...which noone reads. Well, I'll finish it anyway! Because I can!
And then... Ok, the point of this blog. I've written a follow-up to "I believe your wife is a vampire". It's called "Crossroad/the last crusade", and if you heard the song, you know the drill. Songs give me a lot of inspiration, noticed that, huh? It answers one or two questions you might have after reading the first.... Thats all for now, have a great life!
