Eh-heh, let's just say time has been flying by and leaving me in the dust as of late. 
What's been going on since I last posted anything on here besides story comments and such:
-Work hours increased dramatically due to co-workers leaving in droves. Turns out the new manager didn't gel well with hardly anyone, as there's been a near-total staff change-over since he showed up. He's a good salesperson, but he micro-manages WAAAY too much. Anyways, at one point I was up over 60 hours for a week before upper management got wind of it and shut that crap down. I'll talk on that in a bit.
-I've been busy preparing for Halloween this year. Now if any of ya'll know me by now, you'll know that Halloween is my favorite holiday of the year. I tend to go all out finding new ways to scare the hell outta people that come to my door for candy (and now mostly for scares since I've been doing this sorta thing for the past 13 years). Why so much preparation, though? Well, I'm dressing as a very particular character, one that requires me to build up my leg strength, stamina, balance, and ability to walk around on these in low-light and glaring conditions:
And they're a great leg workout too. (Trust me, you don't find out how outta shape your legs are till you strap these on and try running/jumping. I'm up to 5 miles on them every other day now!)

Soooo, yeah, gonna be Slenderman and I am SO looking forward to it! My GF is going to help as well, playing Slenderman's Proxy from "Slender: The Arrival." We're gonna get people SO bad!
-Ahem, anyways, where was I? Oh, right. Another big reason for the delay:
The 8th Series of Doctor Who has been going strong for a while now, but it's going to be winding down soon-damn can't believe I'm already saying that! It's been a great season so far, and Peter Capaldi is the Doctor House of the Who-world. All he's missing is a cane and an addiction to Vicodin and he'd be set! XD
-Also, my GF got me into a particular anime series...a few of you may know it:
Seriously the most insane, hilarious, ridiculous anime I've seen since Gurren Lagaan. XD
I say it's like MLP: FiM-don't knock it till you try it.
-But the REALLY big thing I've been preparing for during my free time outside of work has been this convention:
Nightmare Nights Dallas
Last year's was my first convention ever, and now with a few under my belt I'm hoping to be less lost and confused about how these things work. So it should be fun! (also, we got Mitch Larson again!)
-It's also come to my attention that I'm to be moved off of general car invoices and hoods at work to strictly mechanical service writing-my real job-ASAP. I'm being offered a choice of hours, uniforms (EFFIN FINALLY!!!), pay rate, commission rate, etc. Along with that will come a strict limitation on my hours so I don't get totally burned out like I did this summer and there's NOTHING that the micromanaging store manager can do about it!
So, yeah, I WAS planning on looking for a new job as soon as the convention ended (and I still will keep my options open and my resume out there, mind you) but it's looking like in the very near future I'll be fully back into the swing of things here!
Now that leads me to my next topic: what to write first. I've got a load of ideas bouncing around in my head, including a dramatic and touching story my GF and I came up with about Derpy's emotional attachment to everypony she delivers the mail to.
Yes I know I've got big major things to continue (that's going to be taking place simultaneously, so don't fret), one of which in particular I've promised I'll finish first before posting up anything else on Blue Angel (still slowly re-reading and editing that behemoth).

I hear ya on the micromanaging idiot who's great at one thing but a utter failure otherwise...that's what my last job put in in my final year there...honestly they did better when they had no manager the year prior to his start.

I got mine just over 1 year ago for a birthday and
screw about on themuse them for exercise once a week.I honestly thought you were gonna try to dress up as the zenomorph (or whatever the fuck their official name is) from "Alien" at first, after I saw the stilts and read "low-light and glaring conditions." :/ eh, you would need some way to get the right head shape, add the long tail, etc. anyways.
