Phew! It's been a crazy few months, but I'm getting close to the end of the Trials of a Necromantic Equestria base story. I've had a lot of fun writing this, and I am so thankful for everyone's continued support! I'd like everyone to know, once the base story is done, that I'm opening up the universe for anyone who would like to write their own stories in it. Whether or not they become canon will be up to me after I read them, but I'm quite optimistic. You all are great writers in your own right. Now, back to writing a climactic showdown between... somewhat evil and evil? *cackles*
I just hope that the Equestrians can earn their happy ending!
I just hope Twilight can save Spike. Little hope is better than no hope there.

With all of this effort Twilight is putting forward, to see it all fail would be quite heartbreaking, I am not sure any of them could handle it if that happened.
I was thinking of putting my own sort of spin on the setting you had in ToaNE, because I really loved the way everything was setup, but I had a very different story in mind. I've written stories before, but never a FiM fanfiction, so I'm a bit hesitant to go through with it.
Either way, I'm excited to see where the story goes and what people will do with the universe it takes place in.

Just curious, you understand. I've absolutely loved this whole roller-coaster ride of a story, and it'll be sad when it finally does end, but wow!, what a ride it's been!!!

If they're practical, they will do what the Caribou attempted only get it done right.
But something tells me that if they defeat the puppet master things will rapidly change and hopefully for the better...then they could do something akin to us and japan.

I am sure the Griffons would whole-heartedly back that plan up in a heartbeat, seeing as they're dealing with Caribou forces as well.....hrmmm surprised they haven't caught wind of whats going on within Equestria.....more surprised they haven't tried to link up with the Crystal Ponies.....

I think she/he is even inviting other writers to delve into the ToaNE-verse with stories of their own based in it.

Though let us see what occurs for the story itself...there is a fair bit left if memory serves, then we can see what others may attempt to contribute. It sure would be interesting.

However, she (he?) also said, in the aforementioned A/N's, that there will be a full, direct sequel to Trials of a Necromantic Equestria, but that it will be awhile before it hits here at FIMFic.net.
Well, here's what Taelea actually said in those Author's Notes:

Now see that's the one downside of the site update, I don't have a 'at a glance' view telling me that I have unread chapters to deal with. And the site notifications stopped working for me months ago.

Ever since Knighty and the staff implemented the new "bookshelf" sysytem, you just hover your pointer over the "Library" bar and you get a drop-down menu that shows what's been updated in your "Favorites", "Read it Laters" and any that you have on the "Tracked" feature.
Also, if you look at the Library bar, there's a thing with brackets after the word "Library" (like this: ( )). If there's a number on them (like this: (3)), then you have unread chapters.
As far site notifications are concerned, I think that you can set the "shelves" in you library for e-mail updates.
Anyway, I hope that this helps you.
