It is Wednesday: Concept Art

It is Wednesday.

Ever put antifreeze in a toilet? Well, I can officially check off having done that. The more you know I suppose. Wednesday has come too quickly this week, but I still have stuff I wanna talk about. I know a lot of you don't give two shrimps, but I'd like to hear from the handful of people who do care. Their caring makes me care. It's like a perpetual circle of care.

ANYWAY,

So... did you all read Morphogenetic Impregnation? Check this out:

Happiness is holding the 6th Slot on the Popular Stories Sidebar. And to think, that fiction arose out of a conversation about sentient kitty litter.
But in slightly more exciting news...

I dunno what happened with Big Lugnut, but holy beloculus kids! That story got eaten up literally overnight! I personally thought Chapter XV was friggen' brilliant (SO MUCH FORESHADOWING), but the sudden influx of views cannot be explained by the edition of such a late chapter. If there is someone out there who I should be thanking, TELL ME. If it's just due to me being awesome... THAT'S HIGHLY UNLIK-

Oh, and someone sent me a PM about getting the feature box? He/She says she didn't know which of my stories it was... which is... weeeeeird... so... yeah, if it actually happened it would be nice to have someone confirm that for me.

SO,

Robotic Stallion Big Lugnut... the final chapter will be upon us shortly. As such, I've been brain storming awfully hard about the next series I'm going to do. In my previous Wednesday Blog, I introduced The Tryst and A Still More Excellent Way. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go back and READ THE DA-

Earlier, I was pretty convinced I was gonna do A Still More Excellent Way, but with Lugnut's sudden booming success, I kinda realized how attached I am to the series as a whole. I mean, it is the first bit of pony I wrote. I've still got time to settle on one or the other, seeing as I'm gonna go through and SUPER EDIT Big Lugnut so I can send it off to EqD hassle free. That means YOU still have time to throw in your two cents! And in order to get the gears in your head tumbling, I have concept art from both stories!

The Tryst
As I explained, this story will pick up a number of years after Big Lugnut. Ponyville is more up to date and blah blah blah. So, for those of you who read Chapter XV of Lugnut, do the names Planet Diver Dash and Sun Spot Dash ring any bells? Well, guess who!

The way I've planned the story out, these two will play prominent roles.

A Still More Excellent Way
So, the True Elements of Harmony as defined by yours truely: Secrecy, Apathy, Brooding, Envy, Duplicity, and Illusion. If you haven't read When Harmony was Forged... well, I'd recommend you do. My plot requires I have one pony for each of these elements, so how would you like to meet the elements of Envy and Duplicity?

You wouldn't believe how many times I changed their color schemes. Anyway, as they are now they're rearin' and rootin' to go!

So yeah, I still don't know which of these stories I'm going to go through with. In a perfect world, I could go ahead and do both. I could do one after another, but right now the iron is hot for these two stories. Here is a comic by John Campbell that describes my current state of indecision.

Oh, John Campbell is the inspiration for my next One Shot. That's all I'll say about that.

Let me ask you a question: What Is Fame Without Friendship? I dunno, but I'm eagerly reading this story by RandomHero to find out! How good is it? When I read it, I offered to do the cover art. Then I did his cover art. THAT is how much I loved it. I can't just do art willy-nilly (even though I do), I have toilets to put antifreeze in and Changeling Kings to write about. But hey, go read that thing up there because it is good and I am asking nicely. OH SO NIC-
