Cover Art

So I was going to write tonight, but by time I pulled myself out of a fic it was already 1:30 in the morning. It has been a very, very long time since I found a story that could do that to me, and it feels amazing. We need more good, long Twidash fics for me to devour.

Anyway, I have a couple things to talk about tonight. First, cover art.

I'm getting some.

Well, more accurately, someone is giving some to me free of charge. I was contacted today by an artist who was looking to get his name out there in the brony community. He's offered to draw some cover art for my previously existing fics in exchange for me... well, using it and crediting him. I agreed to it (Who am I to deny free art?) and he's already started work on a cover for Touching Stars. In the future, if he wants to continue doing this and I like the art, I'll be sending him my pre-editing drafts of short stories to get cover art done before I release them in an effort to get as many views for him as possible.

Not much yet, but I quite like what I see so I'll give it a shot and use whatever art he throws my way. Do me a favor guys; go show him some love. Seriously, it's not everyday some random stranger on the internet walks up to me offering to do cover art for free.

Aside from that, not much else to report. I should really go write now, but... well, "The Colours of Dusk" is calling to me. I honestly don't know how I missed the damn thing back when I was scavenging the Twidash group for every story I could get my hands on, but I'm reading it now. Maybe I skipped of it 'cause it's R63, but that never exactly turned me away from a story...

Ah well, it matters not; I'm reading it now. Got a little further than halfway tonight, and will finish it tomorrow.

But you guys don't wanna hear about my reading; you want to hear about my writing!

I can't tell ya; I haven't written yet. Too busy reading. Anyway, I felt that guy's awesomeness deserved its own blog, so I'll leave this as-is and go write some Twidash for you.

Same thing happened to me last night. I got sucked into reading a sweetiemash Fic that was recommended by a friend, Next thing I know it's 5 in the morning! Now I'm tired as fuck... (if this sounds choppy probably because like I said, I'm tired as fuck) Well I'm going to have fun today.
