Updates+ An opinion I should've really got out of my system earlier. · 4:26pm Aug 30th, 2014
New chapter of BSS (Which is short for Babs' Sweet Seed, not BullshittingShit.) is to editors. Yay! Now, to the opinion. To anyone of my followers (bless all of you) who might be wondering what I think about Equestria Girls.
I don't care for it.
I really, really don't care for it. I don't care what happens in it since it's a parallel universe, I don't care of the characters in it since, well, what's the most prominent character in it apart from for Flash Sentry? Last time I checked he was blander than stale bread. Sunset Shimmer is basically sugar free Trixie and now that she's not a villain anymore and doesn't have that demonic form anymore I don't really care much. Villains at least are good for a laugh but now she doesn't even have that anymore. I suppose there are good fics out there about it and I read some of them. Loved the good ones, of course. The thing is it's just...Nothing I care for. Unless we are going to see Sunset Shimmer (Have you noticed that she and Silver Spoon have the same initials? And those initials are...SS? Coincidence? Probably.) in the show proper or the sirens or, ugh, Flash Sentry I'm not interested. Never liked a movie inspired by a cartoon and I'm not going to start now.
Wow. All that rant to basically say nothing.
That nicely summarizes my feelings on the subject as well.
2413977 Cool. We can "not care" together, then
I really don´t understand all this hate (or "no-hate", inyour case) against EG.It´s any fanboy wet dream, humanized ponies ! ´Bout Sunset, we need to watch the movie first, we barely had 10 minutes of teasers to get know her new status. Maybe, yes, she lost all the interest, not being a vilain but, maybe, just maybe, something good can come from that.
Meh, based on what we've been shown so far, I'm... cautiously looking forward to this one. It's probably not gonna be "good" per se, but it seems like they've taken care of the biggest gripe I had with the original: the pacing. The scenes we've seen have had time to breathe, and not felt rushed as shit.
