So for any of you not up to speed on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, the ALS Association has started a publicity/charity motion to raise money for research into ALS/Lou Gehrig's disease. When challenged, you have the option to either dump a bucket of ice water on your head (to simulate the shock and loss of control individuals afflicted with ALS experience, I'm told) and donate up to $10, or decline the challenge and donate $100. Well, here on FiMF, since we're all starving authors, Jake has altered the rules a little bit to change the max donation to $35.
I got challenged. Twice, actually. And it's for a good cause, so I figured why the hell not? I did it, Jake! Now love me!
