I'd really like to apologize for just how fucking long this is taking. Life has been really hectic for me for a while, and schedules have been kinda shit.
And if I'm speaking honestly, I'm actually terrified of finishing. It's been six months since I wrote any new content and the fact that as soon as I finish the pass on chapter 21, I'll actually have to do new content? It's horrifying! I have no idea if I'll be able to put out a chapter in a decent amount of time, and what's worse is that the 2-year anniversary of the story is coming up on August 21st, and as I'm looking at that, and surgery the day before, there's almost no way I'll be able to put out another chapter! It's kinda a testament to how badly this has gone, because in the first year I managed to put out 14 chapters, but I'd need to put out another 7 to make the difference up, in all of what, 22 days?
I will aim to have one up on the 21st, but I'm scared of it. I've got an outline set up, roughly, for the next 5-8 chapters, depending on how much stuff needs to be expanded on, and where good break points end up.
The main point is, there's one chapter left. I'm moving, so I have no idea how long it'll take, but I want it out FAST.
I miss writing new stuff, and I want to continue the story, resolve the issues with the dragon, show exactly what happened to Rose, and get back to Blackhoof.
So... here goes nothing...

You know we're rooting for you. And I don't think you should worry too much about the anniversary business. It'd be a nice gesture, but not worth running yourself into the ground or pushing out a chapter prematurely for.
