I just did one of the most painful things I'll ever have to do; clean out my youtube subscriptions.
Jesus, so many people going inactive... hell, I was still subbed to H8_Seed. It felt terrible hitting that unsub button, but... I like to keep my internet things nice and neat (not at all like my real life things) and... well, inactive things are just clutter. Speaking of, I think there's someone I need to unfollow on here too... Yep.
That hurt... I'm not gonna unfave anything though, no matter how painful it is to look at these fics that will never be finished, I still like to go back and read what there currently is of them.
Hmmm... I had something to say in this blog...
Well, if you've been with me for a while you'll know my usual editor is a user by the name of Snowfrost. I helped him with his writing for... basically as long as I've been writing (Almost 2 years) and just recently he's decided that... well, that he doesn't want to write anymore. It's unfortunate, because I was grooming him to become the perfect little Twidash author to write out every Twidash story I didn't have time for and... uh.... seriously though, he was the first friend I had that actually wrote like I did, and it was nice to have another author as a friend. Of course, since then I've made many other friends on here, some of whom are authors, but it's still a loss in my books. To be perfectly honest, he never did strike me as the writing type anyway, and I could see something like this happening,a s much as I personally didn't want it to. It's his choice, though.
Oh dear, it seems I've gotten off topic now. Back on track, shall we?
You know I just spent the last hour running through H8's tumblr. Holy crap. Remember a couple blogs back when I was asking what this fandom had turned into? This is a pretty good example of it. The amount of hate he got for doing what he wanted with his own music... honestly, if it wasn't for my writing, the fact that I still love the show and the art, I'd probably leave the fandom too. It's guaranteed, though, that as soon as writing and the show no longer interest me, I'm gone. Of course, I can't see that happening any time even remotely soon, as I still regularly re-watch the show, and write as much as I can even when hit with a block. Even S3, the most hated season, I love to go back and watch the episodes. I'm not one of those "Everything they do is perfect, no questions" types of people, I still see flaws and there are without a doubt episodes I have problems with, but I still enjoy it and in the end, that's all that really matters. As long as you enjoy, it doesn't matter if it's good or bad or downright awful.

Well, the plan is to have Week 1's fic finished either tonight or tomorrow, (no later than tomorrow; if it's not done on the 31st I'm going with the 24 hour plan) but I think this is the only fic for the challenge I'm going to have problems with. Gotta have some kind of update for these blogs to have a real purpose eh? Ugh... doing that just reminds me that I've typed hundreds of words in these blogs and not in my stories. I think I'm gonna go for a walk, come back in, sit down, and write my ass off. Hopefully. Going for a walk at 1 in the morning is always nice, and seems to really help me with my writing. You guys just better hope I don't find my copy of Kingdom Hearts 2, otherwise I'm gonna playing that all night instead of writing.

It's always painful to see the inactive profile of a once great person, almost like looking upon a long dead corpse, still preserved, still showing the wounds that slayed it. Following as many people as I have it's an unfortunate fact that people just... leave. I've seen at least twenty different goodbye blogs, and only two or three of them ever came back. Some left quietly, others in a burst of flame, but all for their own reasons, I guess.
As far as the fandom goes I've long since lost all delusions as to how humanity acts, even among peers. Some people are just dicks no matter their coat, I've just come to take relish in those that do good instead of anger at those that do evil, safer and less disappointing that way.
And with writing, one day I'm going to actually write something that I feel is a good representation of my skills... unfortunately as HoofBitingActionOverlord once did a blog about, I'm still in my shit stage.

He will always be remembered for Rainbow Factory, and for being the "star" of a quite terrible RF spin-off (For me at least).
SnowFrost! NOOOooo!..
I'll always remember him for writing that one incomplete romance fic that's still sitting in my read it later list... I should read those one day.

H8_Seed didn't do Rainbow Factory; that was Wooden Toaster/Glaze. H8_Seed did Never Ending Strife and is most commonly known for the collaboration he did with Toaster called Awoken.
