Some good news · 1:07pm Jul 21st, 2014
Hello all.
First thing, thank you all for being patient. I know most of you eagerly await more chapters of To Love the Moon and they will come. I also want to thank those of you who donated to helping me through a rough patch. While I wasn't able to square things away completely, it bought me much needed time. You have my utmost thanks and I intend to make it up to you all.
So, here's what's going on. This last month I've been looking for a place to live. Now that I've found something, I'll be starting to pack and moving in the next few weeks. The good news is that it will give me financial breathing room to get things back in order. Sure, it's a tiny room in a house with other people, but these are the sacrifices one has to make.
Right, so now you may wonder, "How does this effect the story?". Well, once the move is complete, I'll have more freedom to devote to writing and less stress to take all the joy out of it. In short, be a little more patient and you will be rewarded with more tales of our lovely blue Princess. Please stay tuned!
Glad to see you're doing better, brother! Best of luck, and take your time with the fic. IRL must come first.

Yeah, but it doesn't make it hurt any less when I want to provide you all with more story. I feel like I let everyone down when I can't pop out chapters in a timely manner. I mean, I'll think about story scenes and conversations for the next chapter through out most of my day. I love story-telling and I must have some modest level of talent to have so many fans that appreciate it. It's sort of a shame MLP is an IP and I can't use the world of Equestria for a real novel. There's just something about the ponies that is so fun to write about. *shrug*
Anyway, I'm rambling. Thanks for the good wishes.
Great news! Like Jake The Army Guy said, real life comes first. We know you've got a lot going on, so don't think you're shorting us by any means.
Yeah, I just moved out of one of those myself last winter. I ended up moving with one of the guys I met there and we now split a 2 bedroom apartment... I miss having my own place but you gotta do what you gotta do, right?
2303938 You so rarely tell people to beat their faces anymore, you're going soft now that you don't yell at privates anymore... Carry on.

You are not letting anyone down, and fuck anyone who feels this way. You have important things to focus on, and anyone who isn't a waste of oxygen can appreciate that.
Yes, like most people I want more chapters, but I'd much rather an author takes time out to fix things, than prioritising trivial stuff which possibly ends disastrously.

No one may say it, but I feel it. That gut churning anxiety of, "Man, I really need to get a chapter written, why can't I get into the mind-set of writing mode? The longer it takes, the more readers that forget about the story or move on, never to see the conclusion I have planned." And it feels like failure. To know that because of my delays, there are those who enjoyed the story, but left, never to finish. It hurts.
I'm happy to see that things are working out. And I'm sure we can be patient.
I want to hear more about angry black (not a) Princess.
Don't worry about it! What matters here is your situation, so fix it first and then you can write!
thanks for the update, it's good to know you "solved" the problem, more or less... hope things will only get better for you from now on
Still havent forgotten you man but damn I was getting worried that someth in bad might have happened. Im glad to hear your still here. Its really fuckin hard to find a good fic on here though I have stumbled across a few. Anyways cant wait for your next update!
This story is a fantastic contribution to the world, do whatever you need to assure it's continuation, even if that means taking your time. Live life to its fullest, brother, and continue your great work!
The more time you take, the better the chapters! Take as long as you need indigo!
