I'm just going to say, this is a fantastic piece of work by Noctis. Seriously, if you're not following him yet, I think now is a good time to start!

That was so sad...
so if this comic is part of your story, then my suspicions were correct. she managed to create the rainboom, yet suffered a near fatal accident that caused nerve damage because of it. she refuses to give up on her dream and the frustration and shame causes her great emotional turmoil. her aggression comes from that......... damn that is heavy.
though what is with the whole vision of spitfire hugging her?
if there is any hope i do have is that there will be something bittersweet at the end of all of this. even if her memory is illusion, and tiwlight never was a savior of worlds, prehaps she can at least be a catalyst that gives strength to others.
strangely enough the more and more it seems that this world is a world where something just went wrong. perhaps it is tiwlight's insanity that is the change, or perhaps even more so its that the rainboom was tainted by rainbow dash's accident. either way, it seems that the capacity for the events of the series exist in this world regardless, yet ultimately twilight is not capable of being a player in it all.
even if she isn't, perhaps she can at least help the broken souls who once were meant to wield harmony itself find the strength to make a new life for themselves. perhaps she can find her own harmony in that.
Well thats depressing, almost made me cry.
This one says to me, more than even Twilight's "delusions" in the Asylum, that Ponyville is real.
It hammers ahrder than anything you've written so far how terrible this reality is. How soul-crushingly bad it is, and that it has no redeeming qualities outside of what has been given to it to satisfy a unicorn's curiosity.
Even Sweetie Belle's condition doesn't say quite this much. The non-person wearing the shell of Best Marshmallow doesn't scream WRONG as much as this short comic.
All you needed to do was...take the rainbow out of the sky.
