I've been contacted by a representative of Lion Television, a UK-based production company that will be devoting some time to Bronies in an upcoming Channel 4 documentary about compelling communities across the globe.* They'll be at BronyCon this year doing some filming, and have expressed a desire to talk with people involved in the fan fiction side of our little fandom.
I myself will not be attending this year, and I haven't done a great job on keeping up with who will be there. I know there was a fantastic turnout last year -- is anyone going this year? If you're not going, do you know someone who is? Will you link them to this? If you're reading this, would you be interested in talking to these documentary folks?
I'd very much love for fan fiction to get some of the spotlight that's usually reserved exclusively for the musicians and visual artists.

Well, I'm not going to Bronycon, but I wish you luck. Just don't talk to Jake about it, as he got burned pretty bad when he was interviewed by a news network at last year's Bronycon.

I will be going. Writing ponyfiction is actually what got me off my ass and into college as a writing major, so I'd love to chat with them if I have the opportunity.
