Hello! This message will appear on my blog and the forums for the hypnosis and mind control group.
Lilith is coming around to a close, where I have an idea where I'm going for the rest of the chapters, and the rest is just turning it to words. As such, I'm turning my mind to my next project, and that's where you all come in! I'd like to do one with very few 'canon' ponies. They'll probably wind up in there anyway, but the focus will be completely on OCs, and so I need a great many.
If you have any characters you don't mind me using, post them for me please, preferably in the thread, with as many details as possible. I'm afraid I can't spoil the plot of the story yet, but I'd be looking for heroic, villainous, and neutral OCs, with talents in the hypno area. They don't have to have those talents, but it would make it more likely they'd be primary characters.
Of course, allowing me to use your characters, moreso in a hypnosis fic, means I may wind up taking certain liberties. As long as you don't mind that, we're golden.
You can use my OC, Mercury Cross. The one in my profile pic. though he has an eyepatch over his right eye. His personality = nuts. Very merciless. I guess his personality is very similar to Freddy's in my latest story.
I'd also be willing to offer my OC up for this (The one in my profile pic of course), not a great one but still useful i hope
Azure Calibri, a grumpy bookworm who is always stubborn and goes for the win in any situation, while she may not be the best at everything, she still tries. She always overreacts at the simplest things and is overall a pain in the ass to everyone except those who she has respect for. She has a crumpled paper with two pencils that cross and form a X over it as a cutiemark and yeah, that's about all the details i feel that are necessary. (Woah, on second thought this is more a description on who i am and not my OC, except the cutiemark of course.
)
I guess, everything else is for you to decide with those "evil" plans you have for all the OC's that we offer... Yeees
I'd ask if you could use a non pony OC but I don't think that you would so instead I present two of my OC's
Greymane: A middle aged unicorn with a soft spot for foals, he actively travels a lot and constantly goes the extra mile to make the foals happy with his light hearted foolery. He doesn't cause mischief and is constantly vigilant about his surroundings making sure that those around him are neither a danger to himself or each other. he is a teacher of illusion magic and a master of transformative magics as well. He has a non-destinct grey coat and a Iron grey mane, and an old sack cloth hat with a wide brim and a pointed tip.
and Cloud prism: I would love to have him as an alicorn OC however pegasus works just as well.
Cloud prism is a volatile pegasus with a iridescent coat that reflects many colors of the rainbow in sunlight, his mane is a Stark white with several black streaks running through, finally he is a very skilled fighter having faced many foes in his travels into the wild with Greymane, his skills are based around hoof to wing combat and griffin Scragrilagh, he keeps to the skies so he doesn't allow his temper to get him into trouble on the ground, usually involving a fight with multiple ponies resulting in broken bones and severely injured ponies. Typically starting from offensive comments being blown out of proportion or a bump in the shoulder.
However when he's around Greymane he is calm and easily approachable and speaks easily with others.
You can use my OC Crossroads, he is a unicorn with a coat somewhere between light blue and regular blue (dont have a specific name for the color), his mane is dark brown. His special talent is that he can create a psychic link with a group of ponies and draw them into a mental wonderland sort of place of his own creation, I always portrayed it as cyber punk themed but you can change it if needed. Other than that, he has a crush on Vinyl Scratch, the rest is open to interpritation. Hope this will help you.

Hasn't ever successfully performed an induction, but knows a good deal about the craft. In the face of an evil hypnotist like Lilith, he'll stand his ground with a snarky grin and a sarcastic attitude, always able to withstand hypnotic tricks.

I've an OC myself. His name's Torchbearer and he can be found at: Ask-torchbearer.tumblr.com . He's a very mild manned and well meaning therapist who, for your story could be experimenting with hypnotherapy as a new method to help patients. Of course, things like that could easily "spiral" out of his control. You could use as many liberties as you want with him!
