I think I figured out the problem with this story. She is just a pretty face. She is only in this story to get sex and nothing else. That's it. That's all she wants. She wants to just have sex with Zuko and have everyone else take all the responsibility.

Maybe this is just the pessimist in me, but I saw this coming a mile away. The bondage, the kissing, the fact that she doesn't actually do any work. It all screamed "F--- ME! F--- ME HARD!"

So, Zuko shows up and demands that the Avatar surrender… and that the girl come out and jump his bones.

He's got some lightning bending going on. In his pants.

So, Omashu, Cabbage Merchant (that scene got ruined, by the way; instead of going “My Cabbages!!!” he just lets out a Big “NOOOOOOO”.)

Fuck this story! There are things you do not fuck with! The Cabbage salesman is one of them! You don't mess with that!

I think I’ll keep posting cute Maiko pictures until this story is over.

Personally, I don't blame you. I need to look at cute pictures of Fluttershy, Rarity, Celestia and Luna too keep my sanity (Top 4 ponies)

You my friend have a long fic ahead of you if this is the main character. This is as bad as some of the other characters I've read about. Perhaps worse. I can see why this is a pain to get through. This character is just a tool. A sexual tool for the author.

I’m not saying that I know how to write the best romance stories of all time (I actually think my romance scenes need a lot of work), but I would like to see the relationship actually grow at a reasonable rate.

Most reviewers can't write romance, that doesn't mean we can't criticize it when it sucks.

Then she dies. The end.

(Don't get me wrong. His characters are still awful and his story is trash, but I keep finding worse examples of each.)

I don't really dislike the pairing... it's the fans I really dislike. They are a big reason why I am happy to see Zuko in S3 of Korra, we can get another nail in that ship's coffin. How many fics do I see that have Aang being abusive, Katara cheating on him (so to have either zutara or taang), or generally screwing over the character to make a ship that the writers make fun of happen.

Guess why I prefer Jinko, Toko, and Zuki, they tend to be sane
